McArthur is a good teacher. He knows his stuff well!! Because his class is fully lecture it is hard to stay focused. If you read and listen in class you'll do fine on the quizzes.

Expect lots of unannounced quizzes. Not only read, but spend at least 2 hours studying the chapter if you want to do well. I praised the Lord for a C in his class. Not very accommodating, had to make 3 trips to the McKee Library to find a resource book that wasn't there, because he couldn't admit he was wrong. Also has speech impediment.

Interesting teacher than communicates subject matter in an interesting way. Takes an interest in his students, often inviting groups to his home. Bonus! His daughter is hot.

He is an amazing professor. It is obvious that he loves what he does and knows what he is talking about. He has a great sense of humor. the quizzes aren't too bad if you read, and the tests aren't too bad either, just be ready for the essay, but everything else on the test is easy.

The subject material was really interesting, but there was so much to read and remember, it was overwelming. The tests are really hard and you have to do a one-on-one oral exam with him--really intimidating and kind of scary. You get class participation points if you ask questions in class.
