Professor Colvin is a very nice professor. She is tough on the grading but she wants you to do well. She will help in any way she can and her class is very fun. She is never hard on students and sometimes tells funny jokes and stories. If you take her, the class is a very easy A or B, a little bit of effort can get you an A.

I LOVED this class. Professor Colvin is easy going and fun to be around. She does give quite a few papers, but it isn't too bad. However, she is a TOUGH GRADER and has horrible penmanship lol. I wish she taught 1102 because I would take her again.

I love Dr. Colvin! She is my favorite teacher! When I first started her class I was really scared because of her reputation, but she is the best english teacher I have ever had. She is really helpful and walks you through exactly what she wants form you. You do not need to buy the wrapped writers book because we didn't use it.

Dr. Colvin is my favorite professor, she is truly into her job! She is a tough grader but she WILL let you know why so you can do better next time. This is basically a writing class but her assignments arent long and she'll help you whenever you need help without problem. If writing is (or isnt) your thing you will come out a better writer.

Dr. Colvin is an excellent teacher! I love her class. She is very helpful. In fact, she allows you to turn in 1 late paper during the semester without penalty. She always is very prompt in responding to emails and she grades papers in a timely manner. She very nice and has a fun class. She explains her assignments clearly as well. TAKE HER CLASS!

She is a great teacher! She would always answer any questions and doesn't get on you if you are late or miss class. She is very encouraging. I personally found her class very easy, because we only did 5 essays, which she gives you plenty of time to work on. I recommend her for any freshmen that still trying to get out of the high school mentality.

Colvin is a FANTASTIC teacher! I took her for English 1101 my first semester and loved her so much that I took her again for 1102. The class is by no means easy, but not at all too hard. extra credit for attendance! She offers MANY extra credit opportunities during the semester.
