This prof may be good for honor classes, but it seems she wants all students to perform at this level. For an intro class, she expected way too much. This class took more concentration and time than my 4000 level classes. I would discourage anyone who wants to keep a good GPA from taking this class with her.

Ok, if you want to do yourself a favor and attend one of the best professor's UCF has to offer go to her class. She is really one of gems on this campus and will help you understand the material and break it down to you in every way possible. Really approachable, great professor and all around great individual.

Comment:

Took Causes of War. Prof is extremely smart and talented. Grade is based on a group paper. Dispite difficult group class was still rewarding. I wouldn't be so concerned about the Professor as I would be concerned as to whoyou have in your group. Paper is a tough one!!! Better have good peps in it. Would recommend this course with this professor.

Mrs. Jungblut is a great teacher. Seems intimidating at first but you get use to her. She learned everyone's name on the 1st day. The first couple of days she gives participation grades, so make sure you participate. Oh and dont come in late the first couple of weeks.

Sorry, she is a great lady but . . . very disappointed.As a grad student I expected methods to be the most important class. She was unorganized and distracted. Tried to cram too many concepts in without mastering any of them. And I received an A in this class but I didnt learn a darn thing. Find someone else for this important class.

One of the best teachers that you could ever take. Willing to help anyone who simply asks. Yes her class is alot of work (team notebooks) but its not hard to grasp. She's one of the best teachers at UCF.

Looks like the prof is up to writing her own reviews. Do not listen to all of these rave reviews! Total hogwash! Run from this prof as fast as you can. Save your GPA and save your sanity! FAVE professor ever. She is extremely helpful but also challenging. I worked super hard in her class but it was so worth it in my A grade and what i learned. Come to her office hours because she's always willing to sacrafice her time to help a student who is genuinely eager to learn. will take again!

I learned a tremendous amount in this course. Dr. J is a font of knowledge. This class pushed me to excel in my writing. That being said, it is very tough. Do not take the course in a busy semester. Do not take the course if you worry about your GPA. I managed an 'A,' but I nearly gave myself a brain aneurysm doing it.

Class is a good amount of work. You learn interesting and useful information. I'm not a morning person, but didn't mind getting up for this morning class. Great teacher, very involved and helpful. Wants you to learn, wants you to want to be there. Will try to scare you off in the first week, stick around, she's worth it.
