As a former philosophy major from 2001 to 2003 at SRU Dr. Freydberg was not only a great lecturer, but an mentor and friend. He is a true scholar of Plato, and of philosophy and life in general. If you are fortunate to be a student at SRU or are thinking of attending SRU, make sure to take his class Introduction to Logic. It's meatball simple!

This man knows his logic, and is very helpful when teaching it. He makes class enjoyable, and is quite funny. The class requires a bit of studying, but isn't difficult. Freydberg is a great prof to take!

Retiring, which is a shame, so take him immediately if you can! He's interesting, energetic, and open-minded; his class was 2 1/2 hours long, but he made it bearable. You have to read a lot, but you can find half of the books for free on the internet. It's hard to get an A because he always gives essay tests, but it's managable. Take him!

Really nice man. Generous and kind. Tends to call on people one after another, seat by seat. Random would make for better discussions. Last few classes loosened up and were more interesting talks. Otherwise, great class.

Nice, funny guy. Fun class--a lot of work though. Material is easily confused and if you don;t get 1 aspect of material, you're gone. I busted my butt and got a D - even with office hour help. If you want a lively class, take him, but if you want a good grade, consider taking someone else. who isn't as complacent with their knowledge of Logic.

He is a teacher that really does want his students to understand. He teaches a lot of material that makes it a must to be in class and have the book.
