I think everyone should meet Bernice at least once in their lives. She is sweet, funny, and very understanding if you have a problem. I HIGHLY recommend taking a class with her if you can. Very fun and quirky lady.

Not a very good teacher, but very nice and it's easy to get an A. She changes her mind a lot about what the homework will be and gets behind on the syllabus and changes what tests are worth, etc, a lot. But if you're there every day you can keep up. Easy class.

Bernice is a wonderful person. She was my mentor and really helped me through a difficult situation. I wish that every professor could be as sincere and caring as her. She was really like a mom. I really wish that I would have studied French just to be in her class again. She goes the extra mile and I will always remember her fondly.

This was my first French class at AC. I was in over my head because I could read it, but not speak it. Bernice was very understanding and helpful. I earned an A in the class. Bernice was very friendly and approachable, and didn't mind taking time after class to speak with students.

Bernice is incredibly nice. She became my surrogate mentor while my mentor was on sabbatical, and really helped me out a lot. The class itself was a little more boring, but she did introduce us to some good literature and movies, and always tried to make things fun even though French students just want to blow things off!
