You must have extremely tough skin to take her. She makes very rude remarks, told one student "If you speak like this in our one on one I'll kill myself." and another "Are you the type of kid to shoot up the whole school?" Funny to listen to when it's not directed at you. Class is easy if you pay attention and try though.

I've taken 3 classes with this woman and wouldn't take anyone else. She's funny and makes the class interesting. The class is divided into 6ths: homework, lab, conversation session, two tests, and an oral exam. Three of them are entirely completion graded so if you don't do as well on the tests it balances out a lesser grade.

Over all just an awesome professor. The online stuff was a little hard and time consuming, but she over all was amazing. She does everything to help you with the tests and the oral test at the end is easy as pie. An awesome teacher and great to learn spanish from.

She was hilarious and fun but got off topic quite a bit. She relied on the internet activities to teach you most of the material, but class was fun, which is the only reason i went other than test.

A professor's job is to teach and keep students motivated about a particular subject. This lady does none of the above. She won't excuse you for a funeral of a close friend or frat/sorority member, and I know because I saw her reject that student in class. Unbearable, and too politcally charged to maintain objectivity.

Uses the class as a venue to promulgate her personal opinions. Lacks respect for students. Would benefit from teaching more spanish and making less personal comments about students.

I don't know where all these people are comin from sayin that she's evil, cause i absolutly love this lady. She's the best spanish teacher I've ever had, & one of the several reasons i decided to stay at SPSU instead of transfer. I'm a spanish minor, and i look forward to many more classes with her. Definatly a professor to take. I NEVER get bored!

Evil, evil woman. Not a good professor. She likes to pick on students rather than teach. Don't waste your time in her class if you can avoid it.

Ok, she picks on people a bit and is a bit outspoken, but she loves the subject and tries to keep classes fun and upbeat. When I needed help she was always available by office appointment, phone or email and always interested in making sure I understood the lessons.

if you dont like to be picked on, dont take this class. she picked on everyone, but that makes the class fun. dont make eye contact and she wont pick on you that much. do the quia assingments and go to labs for a definite C. if she keeps picking on you

I had her for both 1101 and 1102 and she is awesome. The people who badmouth her have no sense of humor and who are better off in front of their computers with a C++ book. She's very passionate about the subject and is very outspoken, also shes fairly easy.

You would be better off going to South America for a couple of years. Hope you're not French or anybody she doesnt like because she'll spit on you. She's always ready to run out of class after she spends the whole class talking about unrelated topics.

Comment:
Her lectures are almost always off topic, her assignments pointless and tedious, and her major tests without warning. In the 3903 class, she made the huge mistake of trying to teach 3 different levels of students, ranging from 1000 level to native speakers
