I took Berwyn (as she prefers to be called) for both LENG 111 & 112. She was extremely knowledgeable with the material and was always willing to go above and beyond to help students. As long as you put effort in, you'll have no problem with her! She's my favorite professor I've had so far; she honestly cares about her students!

I've had her two semesters back to back and they've both been pretty good. She likes to use a lot of outside sources (articles, videos) and uses the textbook very often. There is a good deal of writing involved for her calss, but her grading system is fair and consistent. Great teacher, recommend.

Berwyn (as she insists that we call her) is an amazing teacher! she is so nice and just all around a wonderful lady. you can tell she loves writing as well as teaching and that she cares about each and every one of her students. Ive taken 2 of her classes and the papers we write are easy b/c she explains exactly what to write about. I recommend her

Writing is my life and B had a huge impact on my future after GU. Obviously she doesn't like annoying little boys who carelessly enter her class, but for those lads like me who appreciate her, she will favor. She should be mean to horrible writers, but she can't, because she has a heart- most grad. profs. don't. She is beyond fair.

a very nice who goes out of her way to help her students. the class is easy as long as the work is done. her grading is more than fair. assignments seem impossible but once started they go fairly easily. the actual class seems to take forever, but there's only so much you can do to make a subject really exciting--it certainly is not her fault...

Unfortunately she does have her favorites. She's very feminist and dislikes the men unless they suck up a lot. She gossips about you and chooses who she likes. Even if you trade papers with a favorite of hers, you get the C and they get the A.
