She is honestly so annoying. I'm at Wayne state where she teaches now and honestly she just drones on and on and expects us to remember every specific thing she says when she will go off on a tangent for 20 minutes. She never shuts up and she hardly ever covers what we are tested on. I paid tuition for this class to teach myself.

I loved Beth! It was such a chill class but inspiring, I loved her lectures . Her grading is fair, it gave me more confidence in my writing and she really is happy to help students at any time and set outside appointments.

She has helped me really realize what I wanted to do. She can be a tough professor if you show up late or never show up, but if you participate and do your work she's great. She pushes you to try to be a better writer and a better student overall. SHE'S GREAT. If I could take a bunch of classes with her I would.

If you are a Journalism major, you need to take at least one class with her during your career at Loyola. She is the most knowledgeable journalism professor I've ever had and one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. She can be intimidating, but once you get to know her, she is funny, charming, and extremely supportive. Def recommend her.

Konrad is excellent. She tells you exactly what she wants and doesn't take b.s. Her teaching and grading is clear, concise, and consistent. It takes work to get an A, but just go to class and do the readings and you'll be fine. Take her. You'd be learning from one of the best.

Probably one of the best professors at Loyola. She is straight forward, professional, does not tolerate BS, and is probably one of the best network connections you can have. She is a very accomplished woman and deserves the utmost respect from anyone who takes her class. Definitely a great opportunity to do so.

If you want to be a talented broadcast journalist, take Konrad. You will be learning from the best. She can be very intimidating, but if you have a strong work ethic and show interest in broadcast journalism, she will respect you to no end. Passionate, helpful, well connected, and accomplished. She will push you to write the best story possible and will put you under a lot of pressure but in the end the work is well worth it. I highly recommend taking her if truly interested in journalism!

This is a horrible class for being CMUN 101. She goes on and on and doesn't really say anything at all. She is also extremely liberal and voices that all the time which gets quite annoying. Her grading is also a little off. I got an A on my first speech and a C on my next one although I spent equal amounts of time on both. I do not recommend her!

Konrad is tedious. She isn't horrible and the class isn't hard, but she goes ON and ON and ON and takes 20 minutes to say something that she could have explained in 5 minutes. This class is an easy B (without effort) and an easy is totally possible if you just try. If you can take someone else, I'd consider it, but if you have to take her, she isn'

Konrad is in a league all her own. She comes off as a bit off but once class goes on you get use to it and start it enjoy it. I loved this class even though I'm not a very good writer. She was quick to point this out, but ended up helping me a lot with my writing and gave me a B overall. Highly recommend. I'm actually going to miss this class.

Professor Konrad really wants her students to succeed. Giving speeches is always a challenge but if you pay attention to the her grading criteria and practice hard enough you will be just fine.Highly recommended to take her class, I really enjoyed it!!!

Professor Konrad is the most enthusiastic journalism professor I have had at Loyola. She is very passionate about her work and it shows in lectures and discussions. The course was fairly easy if you stayed on top of your work. Also, if you want any help finding internships in broadcast, she is the woman to talk to. I would highly recommend her!

Konrad is so awesome. She is kind of crazy, but shes such a journalist type of lady, I just loved her. She made us schedule an interview with a Chicago reporter which was a great experience. We also watched movies a lot, never really any homework or quizzes or anything, just a lot of discussion.Makes a boring sounding class very fun.Highly suggest!

Pretty easy class. Have to watch some news, write a radio broadcast, do a stand-up. One thing though, for the final, she came out of right field with questions from the book that were ridiculous. She's a nice lady but the final was pretty insane.

BIG personality. She's loud and at times a bit in-your-face. But she's EXCEPTIONALLY passionate about her work. (I hope I like my job as much as she does.) She's smart, wants you to like the topic, and has a very reasonable work-load. She's a fair graders (maybe too fair even). She can offer you a lot if you are pursuing broadcast.
