Horrible. Useless doesnt respond to emails for days. Gives due dates and changes them 2 days before the end of the semester. Worst teacher I have ever had. Do not take classes from her.

Takes months for her to respond. Very hard to understand what you are supposed to do. Self paced course with everything do at the end of the semester (which was nice). But there was a lot of work and she seems too busy to be assigning this much work since it takes forever to get grades back or any response.

The class is self paced, must be motivated to get anywhere in the class. Takes months for her to respond to any emails. Overall okay class.

Took Oceanography to fulfill my science credit in an online class format. Some of the assignments were time consuming, but I honestly learned a lot about a pretty interesting subject that I didn't even know I would find interesting. Much better than most boring science classes. And the professor seemed very nice.

Do not take this Prof online. It is an 8 week course with 40+ Gradable projects most of which were clearly meant to be done in-class in a group setting, making them very time consuming. Readings are pieced together over 4 books and multiple web pages, and there virtually no help from Ms. Simmons. Plus 5 4 hour long field trips (huge waste of time)

Good Class. Wonderful Communication. Learned a lot. Experiments were easy. My kids did them with me and we had fun together. Cant wait to go to the beach and actually be able to identify what I am looking at. Great class.

If you do not mind doing mindless 5th grade level experiments for a class and endless powerpoint presentations, then take her for the easy A. I can say that this online class ranks as one of the worst I've ever taken. A tip for her online class, do all of the essays that are due at the end of the semester at the beginning and work your way back.

Easy A. I attended maybe 5 lectures, never on time, but I did all the requirements and got an A!!! Hardly did anything. Take for the A not to learn.

This class is horrible if you a)want to learn something and b)if you don't want to feel like you are in junior high playing with balloons and rocks. Take another professor for this class. But if you want to watch 10+ films, take this class. You could watch Discovery for less money and learn more!
