The class is hard in general. Buy the textbook because it helps out and she lets you use it on the tests. The TA's were the best! They helped you with any homework and went out of their way to help you. I hardly went to the professor about questions b/c the TA's were more helpful.

I don't know how all these people can say she is a good prof. She is sooooo boring. I've never been so bored with a teacher in my entire life. She explains every detail like you are a 2 year old. Unfortunately she is the only Res Design teacher. So you are stuck with her bore anyway. Good luck!
