She doesn't explain everything very well and she is not helpful when you need something explained. Shes really picky about being on time to class and if you miss labs she'll drop your grade. I did learn a lot from her though. Just be ready to focus most of your energy for her class.

Mrs. Spradlin is a hilarious little woman!! Her microbiology class is tough, but not ridiculously tough. I almost had an A. Just don't procrastinate on studying. If you make notecards and stay up with the class, you'll be fine. Find you a study buddy and meet up every other night or so.

Required class! Love the teacher as person. She has dry sense of humor, but if you show her you want to learn then she will go our her way to help you. Her lectures are all over the place, very unorganized and make no sense. Her lecture consist of 15 minutes and then lab. Test, study hard from the first & she just adds to them each time. Goodluck

She is very passionate about the subject and will help you if you ask. I probably would not buy the text book because it is only used the last 2 weeks of school. Tests are accumulative. Must study. This is not a blow off class.

Super easy for Bio Pop and Eco, loved her then. Had her for Micro and her teaching was all over the place. She is very unorganized and her notes she made herself confuses everybody.

I don?t know if she still teaches Microbiology, but I took her back in 2001. It was a hard class and I complaint a lot. I now attend medical school and that crap all came back and guess what....she was so good i remembered almost half of it after barely using it for so long. Extremely good instructor!!

Very smart woman who knows what she is teaching like the back of her hand but the class was not a breeze! It required LOTS of studying but if you go to class pay attention and do your work you can pass with a C with little trouble. There was only about 2 students who received A's. The rest mostly B's.
