lectures were so boring but Dr. Clement is very helpful outside of class. She grades easy on everything except tests and gives a ton of extra credit. She will definitely help you get the grade you need for the class

Ochem is hard but she is a very nice lady and actually cares about you. Lectures are pretty bland but she offers a generous amount of extra credit. Doesn't take attendance but if you don't show up to class you will not pass organic chemistry.

If you're a chemistry major, Dr. Clements is possibly the best resource that Blinn has on hand. She has a positively encyclopedic familiarity with the subject. She's also a lenient grader, almost to a fault.

Avoid her at literally all cost. She is the absolute worst teacher I have ever had. You can ask her questions and walk away more confused. Her lectures are painful and pointless. Everyone failed all the test and there is no huge curve everyone is talking about. Taught myself all of the material outside of class. Miserable class altogether.

Hands down the worst professor I have ever had. Currently an A&M student but took Chem at Blinn, worst mistake. She does not teach. She writes on the board and barely says what she is doing. Test average on all tests were around a 50. Tests are extremely hard, and are nothing like any material we had prior to the test. Do not take this professor.

Teacher: Sarcastic, Political and funny at times Grading: Hard, extra credit opportunities, tough on labs (not participation graded) Test: Very hard, average for class was 51/100 pre-finals, Math heavy and facts 1/3 of test To pass you must do online homework, read book, ask for powerpoints(doesnt do them in class most times), study 10-15 hrs/wk

I had to drop the class right before the drop date. By that point we had taken 3 out of 4 tests. The class average on every single one was a failing grade. I studied a ton and got an outside tutor, but still didn't do well. Only take her if you are a chem rock star.

Lectures are not very clear or concise. It's easier to teach yourself & use internet/book. Unless you already have extensive knowledge of chemistry, this class is very difficult. If you can take another chem teacher, do so. If not, ask her lots of questions, do the extra credit/ homework. She curves at end of semester! Usually about a letter grade.

Dr. Clement is a great person. She doesn't try to make you feel dumb, but she really does her Orgo homework. The tests were kind of tough, but the class itself wasn't bad. I went to every lecture and some were more bearable than others. Luckily I took it over the summer so it was more chill. She's really a great prof, and cares. I'd take her again!

Okay so basically her curve is a life saver. I never went to class because it was extremely boring, but I made As on all her exams cuz I studied all the notes she posted online. I would recommend her if you're good at chemistry,it's an easy A. If you're not that great, you'll most probably end up with a b or c.

Her lectures are painful and long but you don't need to go to them, she won't care. Just read the power points she posts online and do the homework and you'll be golden. She's always willing to help and will grant you any extension. She definitely wants you to succeed. and she curves a lot. She's your best bet at an A

She is very smart, but this class is HARD. She tries her best to teach but generally just read off of powerpoint. I failed every test & final but i made a C in the class (and i was happy). Online homework was challenging but helpful and she was very willing to assist. The good news is she wont let you fail If you at least TRY! Offers easy xtracred

Her lectures are the most painful thing I've ever had to deal with. She sometimes gives tests reviews, but her tests are pretty difficult because they're all "work out" problems, no theory. Tutoring is basically a must if you want to pass her class. I would not recommend

She is very nice and easy to get along with but she's a HORRIBLE teacher. Its extremely hard to understand anythings she's talking about. She is very willing to help you if you go to her office but it never did me much good because everything was even more confusing after she explains it. But a 70 average is an A!

Professor Clement is one of THE MOST monotoned teachers, ever. BUT she is so sweet and literally gives out extra credit like no ones businesses. So easy, but you won't learn much. Stops taking attendance after like 2 weeks. Lectures are honestly pointless, I learned from the textbook. She doesn't necessarily "curve" but a 70=a pretty much

The pros: grades very easy...her scale is like 70-A, 50-B,etc. The lab section has no reports,pre/postlab. Just turn in results for easy 100. Lets you postpone taking tests. doesn't care for attendance. Cons: can't teach at all...tests are difficult. Take her to get a good grade for Ochem but not if you want to learn.

She's great with one on one tutorials and a very nice person, however, the tests are no joke. No curves, a ton of homework that is not weighted very heavily (5%). There is no "big curve" that I've heard some people say she gives. She doesn't take attendance, but not showing up means that you're probably not committed and you will fail.

TAKE THIS ONE!!! You never have to go to class and when you do it's pointless anyways because of her monotone voice. She grades really lax but to do well on the class I had to go to tutoring because I couldn't actually learn from her lectures. Take this prof if you want an easy grade but not if you actually want to learn the material.

not a bad teacher. doesnt take roll, and going to class is pointless, most monotone teacher i have ever had, couldnt listen to her talk. still got out with a B. she says she doesnt curve, but she also says a 40/80 on a test is a B... knows what she is talking about. instead of going to class, go to her office and ask her MC questions... it helps.

Had her for organic chem 1 and 2. Extremely hard class, no curves, lots of homework, but she is an excellent teacher and is always willing to help a student out when they need it.
