Miller's passion for neurology, voice, and motor speech/swallowing disorders is inspiring. Classes are intense but the assignments are meaningful and well thought out. She's a thoughtful teacher and provides a variety of learning opportunities for all types of learners. She is extremely helpful and it's clear her #1 goal is student learning.

Professor Miller began teaching the Senior capstone course for CD majors fall of 2012 and took over for Dr. Mccomas. Miller is passionate about anything she teaches, whether it be about those crazy neurons or research, in this case. Her classes are very demanding but doable if you put for the effort she asks for. Very helpful, great professor!

I took her for two or three classes in my undergraduate. She is a VERY good teacher, but her classes are extraordinarily demanding and you must study alot outside of class. She picks favorites and it is very obvious, especially when it comes to grading things like projects and subjective assignments.

Although she is clearly a very intelligent person, she can be very rude, unhelpful and even unprofessional. She loves to make you feel ignorant and is on a huge power trip. You will definitely learn in her classes, but be prepared for quite a few sob fests!

A lot of students were scared to take Ms. Miller, but I found her to a good teacher and really eager to help you. As long as you go to every class and study study study, this class isn't too bad. In the end you'll feel proud and happy to have successfully completed the course. And, you'll know the material in and out.

Mrs. Miller is an awesome teacher. I have learned so much in this class. And (in her words), she's the funniest person we know! It may help to take BSC 227 before taking this anatomy though. You have to study alot for this class, but she is a great teacher and willing to help you!

If you are coming in looking for an A, you're fooling yourself. This is a very hard class and if you are taking another difficult class with it, it will be hard to keep up. She seems to be very inconsistant with grading the outline assignments as well.

She expects perfection and will make you strive for it. She is very knowledgable and does a tremendous job for Marshall. Overall great teacher but if you expect an A you may be disappointed, just face it. You will learn alot from her classes
