Prof Winters is amazing!!! Take her class, very clear and enthusiatic about Humanities. Quizzes were open note, Test were easy with 3 omits and extra credit points, 1 paper and crossword puzzles for easy credits. She is amazing as a teacher and so sweet. You can tell she enjoys and loves teaching, I learned sooo much and I didn't think I would.

Two years and graduating, I can honestly say that Mrs.Winters is by far the best professor I had. She is very passionate, and keeps your attention. Quizzes are open notes with one OMIT allowed. There is also 3 OMITS per chapter tests. NO BOOK required, all info is provided on study guides. Mrs.Winters is HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great teacher! She is very passionate about her job, and I learned lots in her class. Her class is not easy, but she will answer any questions you have. No book needed, everything from the test on the PowerPoint or lecture. She gives you a study guide and crossword to prep for her test. It really helps to print the power points from blackboard.

Professor Winters really has a passion for Humanties and you can see that as she teaches, This is not a easy class but hey it's college get over it! study in order to do well on the test, homework was cross word puzzles and 1 essay (for my class at least), NO book is required we were taught through power-point slides.

We learned way too much, but its worth it. You dont need a book for the class, she hands out study guides for us. We use our notes on quizzes and the test aren't that hard. I was already worried about taking humanities because i have no interest in the subject. This was seriously the most boring class I have ever taken. I dreaded going to class every day. But the class was easy for the most part and your have to study. Winters is pretty nice but she tends to put down some people. Easy class, but boring beyond belief

If you pay attention in class and study for tests you will get an easy A. Her quizes are all open book & timed. Test she gives you 3 omits. She often makes things a little more complicated then it needs to be, but if you study you will be fine. Dont walk out of class while shes lecturing she will lock you out. I enjoyed her class and learned a lot

Best teacher ever! I had a lot going on while taking this class,at one point I had missed so many class quizzes I had an F, final grade was a B. She gives out study guides for each chapter and is so thorough in her discussions there is no need for the book. She also is more concerned of her students understanding than following the syllabus sched.

MY CLASS LUCKED OUT BC WE DIDNT HAVE TIME TO WRITE THE REQUIRED3 PAPERS!! I GOT A96%IN THIS CLASS. Very good professor,passionate and dedicated to her work and in teaching Humanities! Very simple setup for tests and assignments and once you get the hang of it you will enjoy it so much! doesnt use textbook much,but slideshows and handouts.Would definately take another one of her classes again & recomend her for those interested in humanities.

I had a 4.0 coming in to this class, she raped my GPA i got my first C since Elementary School. And I got 92-104 range on all test! She said I was a great writer but I lacked confidence (umm, NO I have a healthy self image) terribly moody and unnecessarily mean. First day of class I wanted 2 withdraw cause she seemed scary,however after the 1st week she mellowed out. Professor Winters is excellent. In her class you will learn alot. There is alot of work involved and alot of material to remember, but its all worth it. Don't but the book because you won't use it. Take Professor Buck you won't regret it at all. There was 3 papers, 2 test and a final.
