Dr. Shrestha was a nice professor. However, he spends 75% of the class time trying to be an inspirational speaker (really cares about his students) instead of talking about circuits II. Still don't really understand what was happening during the class - tests are basically identical from year-to-year. Passed with an A.

I have worked in the field with electronics and had credit for this course, unfortunately i thought retaking it to get more of the math influence would be a good thing. I was wrong. This class was useless, you would do better buying a circuits book and reading through it on your own. DrShrestha rambles about nothing every class.

Bad professor, extremely boring lectures. Homework is very easy, tests are graded harshly, and he sets you up poorly for the final. Learn matrices and DiffyQ before this class, because you won't learn it in his section.

His accent makes him hard to understand in addition to the fact the his lectures are useless. Spend 30 minutes a day talking about random things and him telling us how much he wants us to succeed and then the last 20 minutes trying to figure out his freaking metaphors. Worst teacher yet at MST.

He's a very nice professor and wants you to succeed. I think he needs to revamp some of his teaching methods, perhaps by teaching material faster and cutting out unnecessary derivations. He's tries to break everything apart but sometimes he makes it much more complex than it ought to be and ends up confusing people.

He's a great guy to have teaching. Does what he can for you to succeed. It's an easy class so there's not much to teach. I didn't understand circuits in Physics II, but I do now with Dr.Shrestha.Give the guy a chance and you'll see. It's hard to fail here, unless u r a slacker.Saw his ratings b4 I choose him, was nervous, now glad.

Dr. Shrestha knows his stuff and wants you to succeed! Class is pretty boring though and it's required. Didn't learn much. Half of what you need to know you learn in Phys 24. Tests are easy and multiple choice. As long as you pay some attention and kind of do the homework it's an easy A. Final is harder than the hour exams, but barely.

I was in the lost semester where he claimed that he was ahead of schedule but it turns out that we were 4 weeks behind. He's terrible. He does the homework for you and doesn't explain anything. He screwed over 2 tests for everyone. He didn't give us back our last test till after we took the final. Don't take this class with him. Take it with Swift.

Similar comments to the previous ones. If you can get a different professor I would suggest doing so. Tests really are not to bad and he does BRIEFLY go over what will be on it but he does so normally in the last 5 minutes of class so all you get a a vague idea. Quizzes are what will drop you grade in the class as he does 35 and does not drop any.

He was a horrible teacher he spent all his time 'recapitulating' about things we should have already learned. All he ever did was use horrible metaphors with out ever actually teaching the material. After recapitulation and the daily quiz we usually only spent 5 minutes tops on class work.

Had an A average on Tests, but we took 34 quizzes and not a single one could be dropped. If you messed up, your grade was effected. Not easy quizzes either. Hardly anyone had an A going into the final. Take Circuits II with Shrestha if you want a rough semester.

A quirky professor, may use inappropriate metaphors for circuit analysis. Sometimes would not cover material in homework, ever. The material wouldn't be on tests or quizzes. Sometimes frustrating, but overall worth getting.

He's an interesting teacher. All of his tests were from back tests and/or examples he shows in class the day before a test. Just pay attention for most of the time and you should do just fine!

He really loves electrical engineering. Go to the class and you will get a little more than just circuits. He has a wonderful attitude and makes you look at life with a cup half full. Study book examples (they will be on the quiz) and study practice tests. He does not hide what he will test you on. I actually enjoyed the class.

You can tell he really cares about his students. The daily quizzes are the most important part of the class. Do good on those and you should at least get a B in the class. Its also really hard to be in a bad mood in his class, hes really a nice guy. Take him if you actually want to learn something.

He's pretty nice, and you can tell that he really loves electrical engineering, but he is difficult to understand and puts a lot of emphasis on theory without a lot on actually solving problems. He usually tells you almost exactly what will be on tests and quizzes, though, and if you suck up a little, he'll adore you all semester.
