Great professor, but you need to do the reading and take the writing assignments seriously. If your work isn't up to par your grade will reflect that, even in a 101 class. If you consider yourself "progressive" keep and open mind. You may not like what he says but you'll learn something.

Abruzzi isn't a babysitter - so if you're not going to do readings and come into class unprepared, don't be suprised when you don't get a A or a B. He isn't afraid to hand out C's, even to majors. But, if you pay attention in class and do the work, he is an incredibly knowledgeable professor with amazing experience. Funny too - really dry sarcasm.

FANTASTIC! This is a real Teacher. He has headed large and small departments and is respected by colleagues. WARNING: If you are a lazy college kid, going to school on your rich parents dime, you'll do poorly! Your lack of real life experience and drive will show. However, if you want to learn Abruzzi is the professor for you.

Worst. Professor. Period. Never came in w/ a lesson plan. Just rambled for the entire class and then gave tests about random facts and figures that he may or may not have covered in class. Anybody who thinks he is a good college professor is a really poor student.

Great professor... Don't listen to what other people are saying... Yes he is a difficult grader and does assign a lot of work, but that is what you are in college for. Stop being dumb and lazy and get interested in learning and working hard - in those departments, Abruzzi delivers in spades. He is a very knowledgeable guy.

Abruzzi is really funny and brilliant in his field. You start to see the world differently after taking his class. He talks about things you won't learn in any class. He's got a crude sense of humor and i think its funny! He's real and down to earth.

I had one class with him and he was my minor advisor and I thought he was a really cool guy. He was easy to talk to and always let me know that he was ready to help if I needed career advice or contacts, or anything at all. His class was really interesting too, and as long as you paid attention (or even if you didn't, his lecture is on line anyway) the class was easy too. I'd definately recommend him as a good prof!

He is the worst teacher I have ever had. He grades his intro classes as if they were advanced classes (he actually told us that in class), he is rude, and the work overload is insane!!! Please, for your own sanity, DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH THIS MAN!!!
