Prof Avison made stats SO much easier than I thought it was going to be!! If you go to lecture and study you will do really well! He explains things really clearly AND doesn't make you do any math!!

One of my best profs so far. Explains concepts very clearly, and makes stats easy to understand. Makes class interesting and enjoyable. He doesn't post lecture notes, so make sure to go to class and you'll definitely pass.

All the tests are essay based statistical questions. They primarily deal with the logic of the concepts taught. He continuously told us we would fail...He is unmotivational and looks like he hates teaching stats based on how he reacts to people asking for help, and them not recieving any what so ever.

No math involved at all, just define and state significance. His tests were all about memorizing and I respect that, stats is brutal if its just calculations. He's funny and knows what he's doing. Go to class, nothing posted online. High textbook use.

Made stats bearable and somewhat fun. Hilarious anecdotes, loves him some football, and explains everything crystal clear! Goes over important concepts and is a no bullshiet guy: won't ambush you with trick exam questions, won't make you memorize useless things. Expects you to know what will actually be useful in your upper years. Awesome prof!
