Dr. Ingham is a nice guy. He's pretty clear-cut with what he's teaching, but he has the tendency to leave the class in the dust during a lecture - I'm not saying that's bad, but when you don't know what's going on, it's difficult to get back on track. Know the material inside out, he's a FAIR grader meaning you do have to work hard to get over a C.

Dr. Ingham is a very nice guy. He loves when students participate so if you do that you're set. But if you didn't take calculus in high school I wouldn't recommend taking his class. It's hard without prior knowledge of the content. Also he has very limited office hours so if you rely on those be aware of that.

I attended every class and did fairly well on quizzes and tests but failed the final exam. My overall course grade was suppose to be a C- but he gave me a B- instead. He's a great guy. If you take his class don't be afraid to ask questions and to put in the work.

Do not take this professor. He is very unclear and boring. He will not help you if you ask questions. His tests are very difficult and generally range from 60's to 70's. Do not take him you will regret it.

He's a good guy, but gets his points across in confusing ways. He's always happy to answer questions and clarify, but I found that I did a lot of teaching myself through online videos. He gives you the tests and quizzes from 2 years ago which follow the same formula of the test you get. The only grades you have are attendance, tests, and quizzes.

Ingham is your typical old guy prof who stands at the board and lectures assuming that you know what he is talking about. If you did not take calculus in high school, I would definitely not take Ingham. Even if you took calculus in high school and passed with flying colors, I would still try to get a different professor. Great guy, horrible prof

Prof Ingham is a great guy, but not the best teacher. He's very open to class discussion and will encourage you to ask questions. However, he does not give good explanations and can be very confusing at times. If you took Calculus in high school you will do fine... if not, good luck. Helpful tip: Do the practice quizzes and tests

Dr. Ingham is nice, however, you can tell he knows way more than anyone would ever want to know about math and he sometimes rambles on. It was tough taking his class at 8am, I could never seem to keep my eyes open. His tests and quizzes are fair, he lets you look at last years' tests and quizzes with the solutions, which are almost the same.

Professor Ingham is a super nice guy, but not a good teacher. He used to teach physics, so his explanations for simple things can be upside-down and backwards at times. He does try to be helpful, though. He allows you to look over the previous year's tests and his tests are similar to those. Easy A if you put in some effort.

The only reason I got a C was because I went to class. He skips vital steps and is extremely boring. Homework is optional. Test questions are much harder then homework questions. Very sweet guy but please don't take him!

He was very unclear- the people in my class who had had a similar calculus class in high school were unable to understand him and his tests were harder than the homework he gave. He was dry and not helpful.

Overall OK teacher. He's not a calc teacher but a Physics teacher, so sometimes his explanations aren't as clear. But he will teach you calc and he knows the subject well. His tests and quzzes are pretty fair, but this a hard class. Class average in my class was like a 2.2 GPA overall. Work hard and you will do well in this class with Dr. Ingham!

He's a very nice old man but his lectures drag and he explains things that could be simple in the most backwards and turned around ways. He definitely knows what he's talking about but its very difficult for him to dumb things down for better understanding. I recommend if you have already taken some calc or know someone that can help.

He is very boring in class, lectures are awful. Honestly, the class is pointless to go to except that there is a grade for attendance. Test questions are literally straight from the online practice questions which are from the book. Overall, not a bad class to take.

He's a really nice man. Sometimes he focuses on things that don't really end up being on the quiz/test. I think this was his first year teaching Calc 1. You have to go to class, it's part of your grade. Webwork assignments are optional (they do help&he checks to see who's trying). He is willing to help you&he has a genuine interest in his students.

This class is all physics which i totally was not expecting. It was pretty complex for a 100 level class. Prof. Ingham did a good job teaching it but it was complicated stuff. I definitely don;t recommend taking this class if you don't like physics or are not looking to work hard

He is a pretty good lecturer and basically teaches straight out of the textbook, so you'll want to read the assigned chapters. He is actually pretty funny, although he has an oddly soothing voice that on a hot day might put you in danger of falling asleep. Definitely great about answering your questions and being available during office hours!!

The man is boring, has no humor, teaches poorly, grades harshly, and is terrible to see durring office hours. I wouldn't take him ever again for anything.
