Interesting class with an interesting teacher. Lectures are very long but also very informative. Somewhat dry and dull but has an excellent sense of humor that makes occasional appearances. Tests and quizzes are easy to pass, most of the time you are allowed to only answer the questions of your choice. Some of his info/facts are a little outdated.

This class is challenging. I took meteorology first and that class was helpful toward understanding this class.

I love this dude. His lectures are easy to follow and his labs are straight forward and mostly on paper. He's funny and entertaining. He's also very understanding of any personal matters. His quizzes are fairly short and easy. His tests are long, BUT you can pick which questions you want to answer! I'm taking another one of his classes now. :)

Constantly confused due dates and did not make quizzes and tests available as the syllabus indicated. He did not give late points for these issues and addressed them as soon as they were brought to his attention by students. It was very frustrating to plan work and life around taking a test or quiz online then not having it available.

Online class is not at all easy. The book and his chapter slide shows are essential to passing. The Labs were informative and very extensive. He gives you a few extra assignments to pad your grade. Quizzes are timed at 1 minute per question, and the tests were timed for roughly 1.2 minute per question. Tests were easier than quizzes for me.

A very bad teacher. Never clear on what is supposed to be done. When a class starts with 20+ people ad half way through has under 10 you know it's not good. The tests are intentionally made to trick the student. Good luck getting him to help you. He often does not talk about the subject in class. He will NEVER go over quizzes or tests in class.

He will only help if you ask. The textbook is helpful, but he posts chapter notes so it's not really necessary. There are a bunch of quizzes, but he only counts your best three grades. Don't skip class, there is a lab every week and usually a quiz or test so it can be easy to fall behind if you miss class.

Very good teacher. He definitely knows his stuff, but he keeps it easy and on the level of students. Funny, pretty relaxed, and doesn't mind humor. He's very good with students both during the lecture and out of class, and is very good at helping. Definitely recommend him. (Heard Meteorology can be somewhat tough, just because of the subject)

He is very knowledgeable and loves what he teaches, but he is boring and doesn't interact with his students that much. Be prepared to take lots of notes. He writes notes on the boards 90% of the time. He does very few in class demonstrations. He barely gives homework. The homework is to STUDY for his tests or you won't pass.

I had him for Meteorology Online. If you can avoid him, or this class in general then you will do yourself a favor. Due to the storm I could not submit any work. He refused to accept late work. I lost 70pts off my grade for something that wasnt even my fault. Worst online class ever. The workload is too much, RUN AWAY!

Not a very good teacher, but an easy class. We were supposed to get out at 430 everyday and we never got out past 4. Labs are easy, just high school labs. Easy science credits if anyone needs one

This class was completely online, including the labs. If you ask too many questions, he will stop answering you... seriously. Do the labs and take notes for the two tests especially since the tests are really hard.

I took this over Summer, online. In general, grades take a while to get posted, tests are pretty difficult, and the labs are very extensive. I would not recommend this as a summer online class

Bill was an interesting professor. you do not have to even read the textbook, his lectures directly translate to his tests, so take good notes. also, he posts all his lecture notes online, so you really dont even have to show up, heck, you can probably do the labs at home too

Very nice, good teacher and explains things very well. I was never much good at the sciences so it was a bit more challenging for me, but I think for most of the other students it was pretty easy. Tests off of his lectures so make sure you take notes. Gives quizzes too. Lets you bring a HUGE note card to the final which is what allowed me to get aB
