Took summer 3 weeks class. Worse mistake ever. I got to experience his first semester back after taking 4 years off. He was disorganized and was teaching another class which left him with no time to prepare or be there for students. He hadn't even cracked his own book before assigning non relevant materials. Hope he gets better with time.

Comment:

People give Bill a hard time, but they are the people not reading and putting in the required amount of effort to succeed. Tax is tough, and he does a good job. The class is EXTREMELY curved, so don't freak out. Tests are LONG (Like 2-3 hours). I learned a lot, and enjoyed the class and him as a professor.

Extremely difficult, misleading and deceptive examsquizzes Ran out of time for exams; had to move classrooms in the middle of tests Unorganized and vague lectures Didn't test on material studied Didn't review for tests Too much material crammed into tests Assignments basically were not helpful in preparing for exams groups were a disaster.

This is a difficult and time consuming class! There's a lot of material to learn. His tests were fair (and he curves them). He's a very nice guy and is super quick to respond to emails/questions. Tax returns were fun, but time consuming. GO TO CLASS. Read the book. This is one class that I can say I learned a lot in and I would recommend him!

I took his 3 week summer coarse. Dr. Bill was a great professor, he had realistic expectations of the students. It was a lot of work because of the short period of time, but he answered all questions and replied to emails quickly. He grades exams and over all grades on a curve. I recommend him!

Great Class. I learned a lot. I think that he taught the class well. It is always hard to teach a class for the first time in many years. I would suggest this class to anyone who can take it. The first test was a little challenging and hard to understand, but the last test was really straight forward! Great class, I will take a class from him again
