He is honestly the best professor. Make sure you read the chapters because there are a lot of stats on the tests. Fill in at the end of the test, he helps a lot with tests. Writing assignments everyday that you can use notes on and use those assignments to get extra credit on test. Great personality, loud, helpful, funny, and all around AWESOME

If you read your required Chapters at the time when they're assigned, you'll pass this class. He takes many stats from the chapters and puts them in the tests. Also lets you use your notes on all the quizes, but not the tests. Gives alot of help on testes.

A pretty easy class. I studied a lot and got an A, but I don't think it's very necessary as all the test questions come from the lectures he gives. Which is frustrating since the textbook was a $50 rental. He's very old fashioned, so try and not to get offended once this guy starts talking about gender and sexuality.

Professor Russell is awesome! Very entertaining and educational class. I think that having his class in the morning is a great way to start your day because he defintely keeps you awake! He has a great personality! Just to the homework, do well on the exams, and have a perfect attendance! I had an A and didn't have to take the final!

He's a great teacher.He makes you not only do the work but you really get to learn in that class. He's loud and friendly. Real nice guy. Attend class do the homework and study you'll do fine. I passed with an A and didn't even have to take the final!I enjoyed that class.

great teacher! the class is super easy and he lets you know exactly what you'll need to know for upcoming exams and stuff. he's really loud and likes the class to be very involved. he's a sweet guy and i would HIGHLY recommend taking him:)

He will treat you unfairly if he doesn't like you. His quote "body language is important..." He states how some teachers grade accordingly to the students personality towards them. I treat him with respect, attend and participate in his class everyday, turn in all homework/extra credit and pass all tests, and he will not give me a letter grade.

He is probably the best teacher I've had. He has the class involved and he truly loves his job and his students. He is LOUD and it is impossible to fall asleep during his lectures, making it that much easier to learn and understand the material. I would love to take another class with Russel. Highly Recommended!

Mr. Russel is a good teacher. I grade many teachers quality and understanding. Many teachers are hard to understand at Merced College, however this isn't one of them. He explains things very clear. Only thing I really have to say about his class is that you study. His tests can be a pain if you don't study. I give him an "A."

Class was interesting and boring at the same time. He has a pop quizzes at the beginning of every class. He takes his attendance by the daily class work. Homework is taken at the top of the hour he says, basically (he won't take it 15 mins after class begins)
