I feel that this instructor could do a better job if he spent more time learning current approaches to digital image making and less time photographing wildlife in his backyard. Most of what he shares seems like approaches used 10+ years ago.

I learned a lot in Bill's class. I didn't know much about PhotoShop beforehand, but he made me feel more comfortable with it. Just stay on top of all the tech and creative assignments before the final, because that is the hardest part of the course.

Bill was the greatest Vico professor I've had yet. He actually taught us techniques and went in-depth instead of other lab classes I've taken. I learned so much more than I ever thought possible about Photoshop.

Bill is an awesome guy who really loves what he does. His classes require a lot of work, but he lets you redo assignments which really helps out your grade. Pay attention though because he expects a lot on the final. Overall, great guy to work with and I'd definitely recommend his class!

Bill is awesome! He shows you step by step what to do in photoshop. The only downside is on technical assignments there's no credit until they are perfect, and on creative assignments, the directions can be confusing. Overall hes a great teacher!

very good teacher. hilarious, although some remarks are inappropriate. teaches you so much, go to class. keep up on the tech assignments. can redo all projects, so if you do, you basically can get an A! Def. take!

Bill's class will teach you a lot. Plan to go to class because much of the work is done on the computers during class. His grading is fair and you're allowed to redo assignments. If you stay on top of the tech assignments, redo your assignments with his critiques in mind, and pay attention, you will get an A. He is helpful and very clear. Take it.

I thought he was boring, rude and a bit snide with his comments. He seems to make it a habit to point out your mistakes to the rest of the class while teaching a lesson, which I hate when teachers do (because it's very discouraging).

digital imaging was an easy class with stupid rules. Make sure you get your attendance and technical assignments handled. Bill is a nice guy, but his policies on attendance and tech. assignments are stupid. Also, I felt as if his grading was a little **** and mood-dependent. You'll survive it.
