She's a nice lady but her class has little to no structure. I feel like I show up to class and don't learn anything. When she gets to the lesson it is hard to follow and her PowerPoints are no help. The reading is very difficult and most of the time no one in my class knows what's going on. I have learned everything myself in this class.

She really works hard to make sure that every student understands all of the material in class. Participation matters in her class she will give you a higher grade if you participate a lot.

I was warned not to take this class... I really should have listened to them. I probably should have listened to them (there goes my GPA). Here lectures are really boring and her powerpoints didn't make sense. Also she didn't give any new information so I was better off not going to class. I basically taught myself.

I am so thankful with her. She kindly gave me extra time for my final due to an emergency. Stay on top of the reading assignments & study guides. She curves, a lot! Midterm, case group project, and final. Multiple choice&True/False questions plus a short essay for both midterm&final. Both worth 200pts. READ&REREAD if possible! ?'s can be tricky.

Professor Tregenza seems like a nice person through email but her class is horribly structured. She was gone for like the first 3 weeks. She has also only graded 3 assignments the entire semester. Her ppts are not the best either. You will never know what your grade is. I am legit fearing for my grade. Hopefully that extra credit comes through!

Grading criteria for assignments was unclear making it impossible to know how to do work. Some assignments would be due in a day & yet, the problems for those assignments would not be posted. Complete assignments, & dont expect them to be graded for 7-8 weeks. And if you try to email her, dont expect a response. Do yourself a favor & steer clear!

Personally I wouldn't take this professor again she is very unorganized and would always go off topic. She also didn't like if we asked too many questions. I didn't learn much in the class, mainly by reading the book.

Do not take. During lectures shes not very clear as far as what she is trying to teach. She goes off topic a lot. Half of what I learned was based on my own studying from the book. Reading the book and doing the activities on your own will help. Just a midterm and final along with weekly assignments in class, in groups.

Grading criteria was really unclear. We had 1 group powerpoint, 1 midterm, 1 final, and 7 forum posts of reflections based on documentaries, but I have no idea how much each assignment was worth or what she wanted for the forum posts. We got feedback on our group presentation months after we turned it in. She provides study guides for tests.

She's a great professor and a great person. She curves a lot and is very lenient on the group project, the group project consists of a presentation and a panel. Read the book because most of the test questions (all multiple choice) are from the book. The questions are bit difficult but she gives partial credit on them even if they're wrong .

She is perhaps one of the easier professors because half of the grade is on group projects that go over the concepts in class. There are two tests which account for other half the grade. Class time is mostly dedicated to lectures and discussions. Minimal txtbook use. Extremely lenient on project grade. Tests could be challenging though. Recommended

The course was not enjoyable. The professor is a poor lecturer and tests on criteria she does not teach. If you can avoid taking the class; do so. It isn't hard but you will have to teach yourself everything.

She is very knowledgeable in her field, however, she ALWAYS goes off topic and her lectures are highly boring. She decided to try out multiple choice exams this semester which were difficult. Also, instead of writing papers, she decided to turn them into 2 group presentations. I would not suggest her if you are taking this class as an elective.

Great Teacher, grades on curve, you will have 1 group project ( a powerpoint on a reading), 1 midterm, and 1 final. She goes off topic on lectures quite often. The exams have an essay portion and multiple choice. Both portions are curved. Easy class to pass, not hard to get a B. Just have to do some of the readings.

She is such a nice teacher. Having said that, she gives you 3 though exams and a group project. She respond to the emails very late and it takes her for ever to grade the exams. be prepared to write 2 hard essay questions and 14 very hard multiple choice questions only in 90 mints.

Overall, I enjoyed this class. She really does try to explain everything, but gets distracted easily. There is a TON of reading, but she makes lecture notes to help out and doesn't get insulted if you haven't read. Despite this, reading is essential. I feel like I could have learned a lot more in the class, but it was too disorganized to do to so.

I found this professor to be absolutely hilarious! After you understand her personality you'll find her to be quite funny. She's VERY intelligent and is well rounded. She curved the tests for our class so that was very thoughtful of her. Participation does matter, she gives some extra points if you have something smart to say during the lectures.

Professor Tregenza is an ok person. She sometimes talks about random things and there are times where you won't understand her. I know that you have to think and all in Philosophy, but sometimes she just makes it harder than it should be. Make sure you know what the readings are saying, those are the test questions that she will ask for.

She gets distracted easily in her lectures. Half the class is taken up by group projects on case studies from the textbook that will be used on the test. The class overall is not that hard, but it's not very stimulating.

Definitely not an easy A. 3 exams, 1 group project and a lot of reading. Study guide is extremely helpful and the professor is always available if you have questions.
