This Prof is the worst I have ever had. She got a very heavy accent. Sometimes I cannot even understand her. Only a few students attend the class. Always reply to your email late. She is always 10 mins late in class even in the exam.

This prof is not a good enough to teach this course. I have avoided going to classes because I didnt see any benefits of going (other than the 8% which is nice) but this course requires someone who can actually TEACH. Some of the chapters get really complicated and you find yourself wondering where certain numbers came from. Avoid this prof or GL.

Bixia is by far the worst professor I have ever had at Laurier. Doesn't care about the course, incredibly unorganized, has no ability to get her point across and is unresponsive to student emails and office hours. Laurier needs to let this professor go - I do not feel adequately prepared for my CPA required knowledge leaving this course.

Very poor at getting her point across or teaching in general. I learned everything I know in that class from the textbook, but still had to go to class as 8% of the class was 4 quizzes (2% each) where you get the 2% just for showing up. Doesn't give enough assigned questions to feel comfortable going into the final.

Extremely dust. Can't understand her, can't understand the material. Tests on things you have never seen before. Entire final was multiple choice which were far more complicated than they had to be. Worst prof I have ever had.

Ruined my experience at Laurier. Doesn't give help when asked (avoids emails), unclear instructions, explains things in an even more complicated way than they are. Gave no grades prior to the final ( cumulative and multiple choice). Her excuse for everything was that it was the first time teaching this course. Worst prof ever. Drop her course.

Very easy going prof. the presentations are very easy to get a high grade in difficult to get lower than 80%. But the midterm is difficult, she often recycles the midterm from past semester and if you can get last yrs midterm you can expect a good mark. She has a strong accent and is difficult to understand, but she is very kind and helpful.

Awful prof. Could not understand her as she speaks in whispers with a thick accent. She does not care about the class (does not respond to emails, avoids meeting you for apppointments, etc). Its easy if you are aiming for a B+ or an A-, but if you want to get a mark higher than that, don't expect much.

Professor will mark all assignments easy, nobody gets worse than an A-. However, she will bell curve ALL the marks down to be more in line with average grades of B for your final mark. Poor communication when I needed to discuss my grade. Overall, unfair.

She's such a caring lady. Her accent isn't that bad, you get used to it. She is very intelligent, and can answer your questions to the fullest of her capabilities. Always willing to help students out, and understanding towards grades. I recommend you take a class with her, and I trust you will learn a lot and do well!
