Just a cool dude. Pretty lax and really into engineering. He's interested in what you do outside of the class to become a better engineer and seems like the type of guy that just wants you to do well and succeed. His class is easy to pass but don't take advantage of that. Learn what you can from him.

Lectures are super clear and the professor is super responsive with emails in case you need any help with homework and quizzes, which are the 2 most important things for an online summer course. CompSci is hard to teach, but professor Avanzato did an amazing job! Probably one of the best professors I've had so far in college.

Pretty much the best as he offered extensions and would show you how to do your homework if you asked. Taught well with his customized powerpoints that you could see he centered them around making sure students understood what was required. There are a lot of assignments though, so just don't fall too behind.

Couldn't be more glad i took his class, and was able to avoid taking this at UP with S. Quick. Answer emails pretty quick, and gives good pointers for the homework. Very understanding of your circumstances if you, say, needed a H.W. extension. The course was robots themed, which any engineering student will appreciate.

The material is hard, but nobody explains it better than him. I thought I was going to fail, I passed with flying colors and took it serious. You have to enjoy doing this kind of stuff and he was great about helping students when they struggled. The lectures can be long but the concepts are simple and nobody explains them better.

Professor Avanzato is a stud. I took his class online and the labs were in class. CMPEN 271 was pretty fun course and so was EE 210. The HW is challenging but he is willing to help. If you put in effort you will get a good grade.

Good guy, straightforward concise information. Watch the lectures, take notes, wrestle with something until you understand it and you will do very well. Actually use the compiler during lectures. Writing out the code helped me. I am an engineering major at main campus, this class gives you skills you can apply. MS Visaul 2013 is great.

This guy is very generous and will understand your circumstances if you cant make a due date for the assignment. Everything was online and it wasn't the easiest material however I had very knowledgeable friends to take the course with. He is aware of people always trying to cheat so do yourself a favor and don't because he has access.

The class was very straightforward and concepts were easily grasped. We had one partner all year who we worked with, all grades were projects and presentations based. I would recommend the class, it was a good class to have as a first-semester student.

If you love robots and technology, you'll love this class. He is very helpful, his homework assignments are also very helpful in discussing possible alternatives to elderly-care. I never really had much of an interest in robots until his class. Also, he's a very nice man.

It seems these days that college professors capable of assuming the role of 'teacher' are a rare breed. Simply put, this man can teach, whereas others just lecture.

Classes are powerpoint based. Explains topics thoroughly. Puts a strong emphasis on having EE students compete in the robot competitions he runs. He's a little picky and unclear with labs, but an easy grader anyway. Overall pretty easy with a little work.

One of the worst Prof for EE 210. Unless your familiar with the subject from HS, this class will be so confusing and the labs even worse. All of you EEs @ Abington might as well as skip him. Better to take it at U Park where its challenging yet we have understandable profs
