Loved this teacher!!! Took over summer and got an easy A. Don't take sci 412 with any other teacher. Dean is the best. You will succeed guaranteed. He is also sooo funny and there is no text book!! Great class.

Mr.Dean is AWESOME! He is a very nice man. He lets you use cheat sheets for the tests and curves the grades of the class. He is very encouraging and wants everyone to succeed in his class. I believe only 1 person has ever received below a B in his class b/c she never came to class. Come and do the labs and hang out w/ Mr. Dean! He's cool!

Dean makes physics interesting through his hands-on labs & passion 4 the subject. Labs are easy b/c they're done in groups, quizzes are often group, get sheet of notes for tests, & they're able 2 be retaken. When asking 4 help, he sometimes may have a you-should-understand-this demeanor, but he's a genuinely nice guy who cares about his students

Professor Dean is GREAT. Definitely the best teacher I have had at State. I am sad that the class is over! Make sure you go to class or you won't be able to get points for the labs. You can make up all tests, and you can only do better!

Go to class! It's fun and he's funny. There's 20pt extra credit paper, all make up exams except final, a couple easy quizes and labs are easy once explained how to do. all you need to do is study the material and you'll pass!

he's the greatest! never a dull moment. there is a practice test for all exams and there are make-ups too. there's no way you can fail if you attend class and i'm sure you wouldn't want to miss class with him! physics makes science fun!

Prof Dean is the best teacher I've ever had at State. He's funny and he wants his students to do well, both in and out of class. His exams are straightforward, no tricks. One page of notes on all exams, and two pages for the final! What more could you ask for? Overall, great teacher & helpful class!
