I had him for China: The Enduring Heritage. He does a decent job of making lecture interesting. He is a very fair grader. His tests in that class were essay like they are in most liberal arts courses.

Comment:

Eno is an excellent lecturer and an outstanding teacher.I especially enjoyed his lecture on Buddhism and another lecture covering Neo-Daoists. He will likely have you analyze literature (probably translated Chinese or Japanese poems) to get you acqauinted with the culture. Its not a difficult exercise though and doesn't take much time.

Outstanding lecturer, far more articulate and well-versed than any of my business professors. The class is not easy however, there were 3 quizzes, 2 exams, and a term paper disguised as a web site. But it's worth it...Eno knows his stuff.
