Professor Urciuoli is a fantastic professor!! Her lectures and tutoring sessions ooze with passion. She's a very fair grader and only assigns light readings. Professor Urciuoli is a great professor for introductory anthropology courses, as I am sure she is for higher-level ones. She's a wonderful woman who is highly respected at Hamilton!

Really great professor. The class is pretty easy; the reading isn't too intense and she goes over all the important things in class. Tests are take-home and open-note.

Bonnie is GREAT! She's friendly and helpful and willing to make an exception if your schedule is too busy to get a paper in on time, as long as you tell her beforehand. She grades very fairly and makes the class pretty fun. There is not a lot of work for the class and much of it is interesting. She keeps attendance daily, but arriving late is fine

So much fun to listen to. Very informative tangents (except for the ones about her cats), and you learn a lot from her class. Bonnie is wonderful, and if you're even slightly interested in linguistics, take her class.

Bonnie is the best. She is so helpful and her classes are interesting. I'm currently in my second class, and discovering that despite the harsh attendance policy, she is very understanding if you get swamped and need a little extra time.

I loved Bonnie's class. Previously entering I did not even know what linguistics is. Now, I found it extremely interesting and planned to take another class with her again. I highly recommend her because she is a caring and helpful professor.

Bonnie is AWESOME. There would frequently be classes where she would get so off-topic that we wouldn't actually cover what we meant to, but it was always interesting and educational. My interest in linguistics has drastically increased due to this class and I will definitely take another with Bonnie!

bonnie is the BEST professor i've ever had at hamilton. she makes hard concepts easy to understand, her office hours are incredibly helpful, but her personal interaction with her students and the community she creates in the classroom are what make her stand out from her peers.

Bonnie's classes are great -- interesting material, interesting lectures. The woman is insane (in a very good way), and hearing her talk is worth it for the CNY accent alone. Grades are not easy -- just fair. She understands and gets along with students better than any other professor on campus.

Although sometimes scattered, Bonnie is really a commendable professor. She is able to impart not only the nut and bolts of linguistics but also intimates the philosophy and sociology behind it -cohering them effectively and leaving one wanting more.

Bonnie is the ****, she's great. I'm not really into linguistics or chompsky and that sorta stuff, but her classes are always fun. Plus, you get to learn about the people who you're reading about--what they were like, who they slept with, etc!
