One of the best professors I have had at USU. He truly cares about the students and invites questions and comments. He knows maybe half of the students in our 200 student class by name, and the rest he can recognize. He requires a lot of memorization, but tests aren't too difficult. He is so friendly and genuinely loves teaching.

Boyd Edwards is the man. He will bend over backwards to help you. His expectations are crystal clear, and while you sit in his classes you get the odd impression that he is a professor who truly enjoys teaching.

He explains exactly what you will be doing for the year and there are few surprises, however on tests you are expected to know a large amount of information and are expected to know how to solve abstract problems. Worth taking at 730 AM IMO.

Edwards is a great professor, one of the few worth scheduling all of your other classes around. He uses clearly defined concepts upon which all the problems are based, just knowing the concepts is 1/3 of the exams and 1/2 the final. The class isn't easy but Edwards gives you everything you need to get an A.

BEST TEACHER AT WVU. He is awesome. You actually learn and he actually teaches. Learn the concepts and you'll have no problems. Homeworks take some time but are fairly easy. GREAT TEACHER

final exams are easier than regular tests, homework is really easy and is worth the same as a test grade. you must memorize a lot of concepts but most people agree that it is not hard at all. Best professor at wvu.
