This guy is by far the most critical teacher i ever had. If he doesnt like you dont even think about getting a good grade. He gave me a horrible grade on my midterm paper when i used my friends from the semester before whereas she recieved an A on it. I got a c-. Doesnt seem to fair.Horrible teacher

He is one of the most boring teachers I have every had, and he is totally unable to explain the material. I realize he is very intellectual, but I would rather learn the course material than what he has written in his book. I, for one, do not care about his book or how many languages he knows.

BAD! He is unclear at 8:30AM and hardly ever makes any sense. Was very unhelpful maybe he was more interested in writing his book than helping his students. Be perpared to hear "Educated people know.." many times. Not an easy grader. And once never showed up for class on the day of a test.

Always entertaining yet sometimes provocative with jokes: "It's like driving a Mercedes off a cliff." In reality, he's an honest, intelligent professor who knows what he's talking about. Be sure to go to class and do the readings, and you'll be fine.

The only complaint I have about Br. Elliott is also a compliment - at times I would have no notes to study from, because I got too caught up in listening to his words. His classes could always make me feel better about the world . Simply inspiring. :)
