Comment:

Second time taking Nash, and he didn't let me down. Awesome professor that is super nerdy about theory and makes it fun and interesting. Go to class and take good notes and you'll be fine. It's not an easy class, but if you pay attention and ask for help when you need it, you'll get a good grade.

He's a super nice guy that honestly just wants you to do well. He curved all our tests by at least 10 points and there is even an opportunity for extra credit. I never went to class because his powerpoints are online and made an A. Very straightforward, tests are easy and straight from the powerpoints. Take him

He's a super nice guy. He tries to make his lectures interesting for his students and really wants everyone to participate. His powerpoints are pretty straightforward and gives a review before the test. I took this class for an elective but if I was a sociology major I would take him again

The only thing that bothers me about Dr. Nash is that I probably won't have him again as a teacher, since I took this class as an elective. He really knows his stuff, and is always available to help during his office hours. If you're a Seinfeld fan, you'll like him even more.

Wonderful class and professor! Make sure that you go to his class. He puts his powerpoints online, but they are just an outline. He goes over everything in detail in class and will give you pointers for tests. There are a couple of assignments for the class, but they are fairly simple. His tests are difficult, but if you go to class it will be fine

had him for two classes. he was alright for applied sociology. However stay away from him for Theory II. My GPA got ruined because of him!!! and his tests were super hard!!! Take Osinsky instead for Theory II.

One of the best professors I've had at ASU. Extremely knowledgeable, but presents information in a way so that everyone is capable of understanding it. Tests are very fair- you just have to take the time to study. Attendance not mandatory but to do well on the tests, you should really go. Overall, great class, great professor.

Brad is a really cool guy; he took over for Jammie Price for my intro class. Definitely has his own beliefs and opinions but he is open to hearing about others' as well. Very nice and funny, obviously cares about what he is teaching us!
