Brad, Brad, Brad..... What can I say? Definitely a love/hate relationship with him... He has the dumbest but most hilarious Dad Jokes ever. Definitely pay attention in class and do studying outside of class or you WILL NOT PASS. He is very pationate about what he teaches, but don't expect him to go out of his way to help. Have fun waking up early!

Brad is one of my all time favorite professors. He may grade strictly, and therefore get some negative feedback. Don't let that deter you from taking his classes! I had a great time, especially on the field trips, and would recommend him to anyone!

I really liked Brad, he had a lot of passion for what he was talking about and that made his lectures really good. He does tend to move at a bit of a fast pace, but he is interesting and gives pretty good note taking tips. A+ puns and dad jokes. Definitely expect homework though with little to no leeway on due dates.

Brad is a very smart guy no doubt. He has a lot of passion for the subject, however I just had a hard time understanding his lectures and the way he does notes on the board. Also, when ever people asked him questions he almost seemed angry answering them.

Unclear for essays, very specific for actual work or tests. His puns are the only thing that save him, and they are terrible. He's very boring, a giant geology nerd and just hates questions after class. During class he thanks you for questions; seek help from him outside the class, you're in for a rude answer.

Knows his stuff, but moves too quickly through the material and isn't always thorough when answering questions(And considering that this class is more difficult than your standard 100 level classes, this made studying unnecessarily complicated). Also,you'll most likely have to put up with a ton of corny jokes. A TON.

Had him for lab... he is a confusing grader, and does not have patience for questions. Come to lab prepared (duh), turn in immaculate lab reports, and be sure you follow his directions EXACTLY. He doesn't tolerate confusion, keep your questions within your study group, and prepare to fail his pre-conception quizzes as they're super confusing.

It depends on how you are in his subject. Brad always follows through and knows his stuff backwards and forwards. If science comes naturally, I highly recommend him, however if your struggle with it, STAY AWAY. He teaches at the speed of light and doesn't know how to help students who don't learn like he does. Easiness is a foreign concept to him.

A tough class, lots of reading and lab work, but he made it easy to get a good grade. If you do a reasonable amount of work and studing you should be good. He 'Normalizes' the grades so everyone gets bumped up as well. Funny too! probably laughed more in that class than any other.

Horrible teacher. He treats his students as inferiors, makes comments that are completely unnecessary, and isn't willing to help students who need it. I asked him to slow down while explaining an advanced physics problem once (most students in the class had no experience in physics, mind you) and he refused. Deplorable teacher; stay far away!

Teaches to smart kids. Average students or kids who struggle are treated impatiently and they walk out of class feeling stupid. Likes to teach to the white board, not to the students. He IS funny, he does know the material but I wouldn't recommend if you aren't thick skinned.
