Comment:

The subject was difficult, but he explains it well. Takes lots of questions, and is humorous in class. Gives extra credit for attending out of hours lectures and exams are very easy if you study specifics. Exams even have multiple questions so you don't have to answer questions that you don't like. Would recommend.

This class was challenging, but Dr. Cooke really knows what he's talking about. He's very helpful if you go to him early in the semester, don't think you can wait until the day before an exam and get sufficient help. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU'RE SLACKER, YOU WILL NOT DO WELL! But if you're actually interested in learning, he's the guy to take.

He didn't have the first test graded until after the drop date. When I walked out of the first test I felt like I made a good B or maybe a low A. Boy was I wrong! If I dropped the class after that I would have received a WF. So I struggled the rest of the semester and barely passed!

Dr. Cooke was Awesome! He isn't so easy though. He's a brilliant philosopher and he loves to talk about it. Just be open minded and he's willing to sacrifice his time for his students any time. He won't reply e-mails regarding to your grades but it's your job to keep up with your grades not his. You cannot ask for someone better than Dr. Cooke

I can't believe he would deduct points for wrong or incomplete answers on his tests. I mean, who does he think he is? Some kind of brilliant philosopher? Yeah. So don't take his class if you're lazy or dumb or close-minded, because you'll never realize that you're in the presence of genius. Gosh!

Never respomds to emails... he really sucks. He takes off a lot of rediculous points on the tests. They are essay tests and he always seemed to find an excuse to take ponits off my test. Really pissed me off. Also, not very helpful!

Dr. Cooke is a really intelligent and smart professor. He knows his subject and can answer any questions you may have. He is very down to earth. But, he does not respond to emails around final time. I think he must have more to do than teach. But, overall, a pretty good professor.

SOmewhat hard class, but he really makes sure that you understand the material. If you go talk to him privatetly, he's good with helping you out personally. He really makes you think, and have really good examples to help make the concepts easier to understand. Take him if you take ETHICS!

Absolutely wonderful professor! Let's face it, ethics is hard, but Dr. Cooke makes it really interesting to learn. People who complain are just lazy, but they're not going to find an easy ethics class. Dr. Cooke is great.

Dr. Cooke was great, he was very helpful and very clear and didn't treat us like we were inferior because we were students. take his class, but make sure you read the material before class, that helps with understanding what he's talking about a lot.
