Mrs. Hungzinger's Bio 100 hybrid class was great! Such an amazing teacher with a lot of knowledge. The class is a little tough since there is so much to memorize, but she will do anything in her power to help you succeed. I recommend studying for the exam's using your note checks AND LECTURE VIDEOS! I would love to take a class of hers again :)

She is one of the best teachers at Lake Land! The class itself was somewhat challenging and if you don't try or do your work then you will fail. She is a great teacher and explains things very well and helps you stay on task. It is quite a bit of information to learn, but she gives you all the material you need to succeed.

I took Intro to Genetics online. It's more than just working with Punnett squares. It dealt more with human genetics and diseases. I actually really liked that. I learned a lot. The class was structure really good too. Thanks Mrs. H.

Brenda is awesome. I took her online and absolutely loved it. Her weekly emails really helped. She was always available for questions. Her tests are pretty easy if you study the powerpoints and the note checks. Her semester exam review was super helpful. Recommend her to everyone that needs a Bio-Science class!

I took Intro to Genetics (BIO 160) as my first online class. Mrs. H. sent us emails about what we should be doing each week. I really liked that. She was great. The tests were tougher than the homework but I still got an A in the class. Her semester exam review helped alot. Study that for the final.

Mrs. Hunzinger is the best online teacher I've had. She made the biotech class easy and enjoyable even for someone like me who doesn't care about science that much. Her class was really organized. Students knew what was due and when it was due. She sent out reminders about things too. I want to take her other classes.

She is the greatest, I took the hybrid course & she Lectured so that we not only learned the information but also remembered it. Their was plenty attempts at exams & quizzes. She really sets her students up to succeed but is also fair. I enjoyed this and loved her personality and information as well. She was open to questions and helping.

Super simple class--just watch the videos with her voiceovers and take the online quizzes, tests, and small projects. Prior basic biology knowledge not necessary, but is very helpful.

Prof. Hunzinger is very easily reached through canvas. She is always willing to help out if you are struggling. Her post labs are difficult, however, you get 2 chances on each unit test worth 100 points. It is not a difficult class if you study the material given.

Mrs. Hunzinger is a very good teacher. I felt as if she always explained things very thoroughly so that it is easy to understand. Although her lectures can be kind of boring, as long as you put in the work on the labs and study for the test, you will be fine.

A great teacher! She is very passionate about Genetics. Was always very willing to explain anything. If you EVER have any questions (if you don't understand a process, questions about your grade, etc) go to her office. She is very willing to help if you want a good grade. Tough grader, but not impossible. Overall I am very glad I took her class!

She is a nice lady! I wouldn't recommend online though. She gives you video lectures to watch and they are LONG. It is hard to watch them all and pay attention. She does post labs, which are quizzes on canvas after the lab. They can be difficult. Make sure you watch the videos over the powerpoints and study hard because the tests are proctored.

Make sure if you are taking her class to follow the academic regulations. Try not to second guess your work. Make sure to do all your work yourself. Do not go to an outside source to help you with this class unless you talk to her to make sure it is okay. She explains things well so just use what you remember from lectures to help with assignments

Mrs. Hunzinger is incredibly understanding and helpful. All you have to do is ask! I took her online BIO 100 class so we met once a month on campus for lab. Lab was scheduled 8-1, but we usually left by 11. You WILL receive an A if you pay attention and take good notes.
