Awesome professor, super nice. Easy map assignments, lectures can be a little dry, tests are not too hard if you go to class, take notes and do the reading assignments. 10-12 page Research paper, which isn't really that bad.

must be easiest upper division course there is. all hw for semester can be done in 2 hours. 3 easy test and project/paper(easy), and a downtown field trip. don't need book just reader. no need to go to every class, maybe one a week.

The tests while not impossible were difficult. If you are interested in geog take Kayzar, I'm not so the class was boring. She's really into what she teaches and is knowledgeable in her field but if you are just looking to get an easy A or B, it isn't that easy.

OUCH, this class was alot more work than I expected. Expect to read ALOT, the exams are tedious and long. Term paper is what it is.. 12 pages. Lectures can get a little boring. Take the class if geography interests you if not... look for another class.

Lectures're boring but she's nice and helpful, start the 12 pages term paper at the beginning of semester then you'll be fine, learn all key terms of each chapter and her outlines and notes then you'll pass the tests, good review before test though, it's not that bad, highly recommend this class!

Class was very interesting, lectures were a little boring but she is very nice and will answer any questions. Tests are a little hard, but if you do your map assignments (EASY!) and do well on the 12 page paper then you'll get an A. Find a topic that interests you. Received an A- in the class.

Class isnt really that difficult. However, lectures can be a little dry. She misspells words fairly often and sometimes has to brush up on her facts. But, she's really nice and will help you out. Class consists of 1 midterm, map worksheets, the final, and a 12 page paper, which is the worst part. But she grades easy on the paper. Overall, not bad.

I know what you mean I counted once she said UM or A 13 times in one minute if you add that for the whole class period thats 650 Um's or A's in 50 minutes. Extremely hard to sit through, and the tests have crazy time constraints. Take this class if you want to teach yourself the material.

I took this class WAY back in spring 2001 and I received an A. I had fun with the papers and she's very flexible in the topics that you write about. For a GE, it's great to have her and she's very helpful. Plus she motived me to pursue my Master's (Kinesiology)!
