She is acceptable for German 1, but anything above that level is frustrating! She literally went through the book activity by activity...we covered 2 chapters in a semester and didn't do anything in class but go over hw. I only walked away from one class having learned anything. Avoid her if possible.

I took this class my freshman year and it was easy when I had her, but then she got sick and we switched teachers like 3 times!! Her tests are easy and all you have to do is go to class to learn the material, not much outside studying to do. I would recommend taking her.

She's an idiot. Wastes a lot of class time with unrelated stories, teaches entirely in English, consistently forgets what she assigned. There is little to no German used in the class, so it really doesn't serve a purpose. She's not a hard teacher, but don't take her if you are serious about learning something.

she's a great teacher. i advise against taking cult and civ and german 4 at the same time. WAY too much work. speaking tests aren't bad either. she knows you're nervous so she dosen't grade hard. she'll also tell you to "say this again," so you never get points off.

Frau keiser was definately an awesome prof who added humor to learning. She always was willing to help if you didnt understand, but you do have to keep in mind that if you dont prepare for class, your grade will suffer. Languages take time and if you dont want to sacrifice time, then dont take them.

very easy prof. go to class and ask for help if you dont understand. test are easy, she doesnt try to trick you but sometimes questions are so easy you think it is a trick. wouldnt recommend for a 3hr class, kinda boring.
