I absolutely going to this class. It was so interesting and the professor has great insights. His mid-terms are very simple, but the final exam is a lot of writing. That said, if you do the reading and attend class you will do fine. It helps that the course materials and discussions are so pleasant.

I got a lot out of the class. At times, he comes across as supercilious and a bit patronizing. This would arise if you had an argument that he disagreed with. It's too bad that he isn't a bit more understanding and nurturing with all of his students not just the ones that he clicks with personally or intellectually.

I had Prof. Greenspan for 2 separate courses & found him 2 B extremely helpful & informative.More than that,his classes were also extremely interesting.I once rearranged my schedule just so I could B in 1 of his classes! for Englisgh majors, I recommend that U jump @ the chance 2 take a course w/ him.don't be fooled, he is also a very hard marker
