Dr. Wilkinson does an amazing job teaching this course. The textbook is not needed however, what is learned during lecture is on the test. So keeping that in mind I advise not to skip too many classes. He curves the class so an A is a 85% and so on. The lab is a breeze. Just study lecture notes and everything till you comprehend and you will be ok.

Go to class, study & you will do fine. Dr. Wilkinson is always there to answer questions & wants his students to do well. Lab is short (always let out early) & easy points. Curves class - 85% is an A. You will take a ton of notes & pay attention to his PowerPoint slides because he often asks questions pertaining to them.

His class is pretty interesting and he gives very clear guidelines on what he expects from you as far as testing and whatever else goes. The class isn't difficult if you study hard and work with him, he's always there to answer questions and usually accommodates you if you have an issue.

You don't use the textbook at all, and exams are only on things that you've covered in class. It's hard material, but as long as you're willing to study he prepares you. Tests are definitely curved, and he even dropped our lowest test score. For our class, an 85+ was an A, a 75+ was a B and so on. He wants to see students do well.

There is no HW in this class. Wilkinson is fun to listen to & he does crack a few jokes during lecture. I enjoyed going to his class. Tests are not that hard if you actually pay attention to what he's saying & study for the exam (he gives study guides). A lot of kids in my class complained about test but they also sat on Facebook during lecture.

Very knowledgeable man. Relates micro back to real life. Fair tests. Took an entire notebook full of notes. Erases notes on board too quickly. Textbook helps clarify. Short labs! (even though they are twice a week) Go to class, study, and you'll do well. A lot harder than BSC 160, but the knowledge you gain is so worth it. 4 tests, no cumul final
