Best teacher I've ever had. He doesn't give homework, your grade is averaged from your test grades, but if you just go to class and read the book you get an A. He's very animated, so lectures are actually interesting.

He says over and over again that you have to read the text, and he's not lying. You have to actually work in Dr. Loney's courses. Aside from a little repetitiveness, he was very interesting. I was almost never bored in his class, and I went every day.

Amazing teacher, keeps class entertained, expects class to read but as long as you can skim and pick up main points, you're good. Doesn't give minuses but does give plusses! (B+, not A-) Would take again without hesitation!

This was a great class! Dr.Loney is a very good professor with tons of energy and passion. Make sure to always go to class and READ! This is definitely not a class you can never show up for and you cannot get by without reading the textbook. Try to get his classes fast though, they fill up so quickly!

he is one of the best teachers i have ever had! he's funny and interesting and encourages you to ask questions or see him in his office hours. he's just a really nice cool guy. if you ever have the chance to take one of his classes you should!

Very good professor. Tries to make it very interesting and he's very helpful in school or career areas. It's much more Development than Psychology though and he tells you that the first day. I think it's a useful class for everyone. Don't take it if you don't want to go to class and read though.

Dr Loney is wonderful, he is very vivacious and loves to teach. He keeps class very interesting and makes it almost impossible to fall asleep. But, don't try and take his class without reading intensely! His tests are hard, but if you read you should have no problem. He is very willing to help out at any cost.

For this class you will not really be able to get a good grade without reading the book. You pretty much have to come to class b/c his lectures are not online. He offers extra credit quizzes. If you want to earn the most points on them, read the assigned chapter before coming to class although you will still get 1 point just for being in class.

this class is fairly hard but i really enjoy it. loney is an awesome teacher and he's really passionate about what he does so its pretty fun to be in class. he also is so helpful as long as you put in the extra effort. there is a good amount of reading but its not too bad. overall, i highly suggest him if you have the time to study for the class.

Do not take this class if you have no plans on studying! He is all about the book, and you can not pass his class on common sense. Read the book! I stay awake in his class because he's so hyper and the class is interesting even though I have no real interest in child psych.

Very nice prof! Very helpful. Wants his students to learn. Has office hours and wants to help during them. Interested in research. Into mentoring. Faculty advisor of PSI CHI. His classes make you really think about what you believe and how that makes you see psychology differently.
