great class to take a nap in. i was in it for over half a semester before i dropped it and i didn't know what the hell the class was supposed to be about when i left. one of the books he forces you to buy isn't on any of the tests... you just spend all class talking about the stupid thing. stay away from any class he teaches. kthxbye

Easy as can be. If you are in class, you have everything you need. Offers extra credit for going to independent films. I missed half of a movie, didn't read one of the books, and still got a 98% on the exam. If you come to class and don't talk during the movie, EASY A.

This class was absolutely ridiculous. The movies and the lectures were terribly boring, not to mention, if you miss one class, 5% off participation. The tests too were way too hard, for god sakes, all you do is watch movies and the average grade in my class is well below a C. How much crap is that. Stay away if at all possible!!!

ok this guy sits in class and mumbles about things and is so unclear about stuff it is rediclous, hes a nice guy and stuff but as a teacher he puts things on tests that were not even discussed or read about, the class is relaxing though you watch movies and so forth, he is really picky abuot attendance, not a bad class overall

I was interested in this class until I actually got there. All the films are black and white, boring, hard to understand, and some of them were foreign. The lectures were ok, but they were boring too. You take your own notes on what he says, which is very vague (whcih makes studying for the tests impossible). If you like old movies, be my guest.

I thought that this would be an interesting class, but this prof made me want to shoot myself! The films are boring, the lectures are boring, he excepts no opinions other than his own and doesn't teach material on the exams. Also, the exams are ambiguous. However, he does offer extra credit and this is Gen Ed. Take at your own risk!
