If you are not a science major dont take him. Having him for statistics is great. He really takes his time to teach us and make sure we understand it! He goes over homework and hes available for after class. Its lecture heavy, but his tests are super fair, no suprises! Everything in class is on the exam!

Dr. Palestis is one of the greatest teachers at Wagner College. His lectures are full of information but the textbook also helps. His exams and quizzes are not hard if you pay attention in class and go over the material. He is very caring and will help you if you are ever confused. Very smart individual.

Literally the worst professor in the science department. Doesnt know how to grade papers whatsoever. Takes off points for no reason. Wants you to fail. Isnt helpful, can barely speak or even look you in the eye. Incompetent man. Its amazing that they let him even teach.

Very quiet. Most intelligent teacher at Wagner, IMO. Hard to get him to open up, but he will do anything under the sun to get you to succeed. Unless you like the topic he is teaching, his lectures are dull and boring because he is monotone. Do not plagiarize. Don't be intimidated by his quiet demeanor. He is as helpful as Blaize is!

Listen up. He has a doctorate in Biology. He is not meant to teach theater kids biological concepts. He is an extremely fair grader, is extremely intelligent person and will do anything in his power to help you. He is soft spoken, and his tests are difficult (youre going to be a doctor, dont complain) but manageable. Go to him if you need help.

He's a great professor! He's a little awkward and speaks softly, but I really enjoyed the course. He presented the material in a clear and concise manner. I learned a lot in a short period of time! This class is for Biology majors/Pre-Dental students. If you complain and can't handle the coursework, choose another career bc it'll only get harder.

Hes an okay teacher. what gets me is just that he makes this class so much more difficult than it needs to be (The practicals are hard and tests are hard in that he will find somewhere to take off points, so be as specific as you possibly can). Dont take this class unless you need to.

This class was the hardest, most useless class I have ever taken. Tests were impossible and there was basically no curve. Half of the test was memorizing little differences between microorganisms and then having to identify them. Final is ORAL = scary. Don't take this calss unless you are a bio major and have to

Not very fair with grading at all. 2/3 of the class gets a C or below and he gives no curve. When most of the class gets a C or below it kinda tells you something. His Lab praticals are insane, you have to look into 20 microscopes and memorize all these little details about different tiny organisms. And since when is a lab practical 45% of the test?

I've had Dr. Palestis in other courses, but Animal Behavior was the best because he really gets into the material. He is sooo smart and very down to earth which makes him easy to talk to. Opens his classes up for discussion and brings in great animal clips to watch!! I love Dr. Palestis, I think

At first, I was worried that I was going to have a hard time in his class, but, I wound up with an A- which isn't so bad. He uses the projector a lot but is always willing to help if something is not clear. Dr. Palesitis is extremely informative and brilliant and I recommend.
