Art of thinking is already a tough class but he just makes things very confusing. He is a good person and I'm sure he's a good professor but I wouldn't recommend taking him for FLO125. He does give extra credit and study guides for tests but he doesn't know what he is talking about most of the time which is confusing.

I had him for The Art of Thinking and took him again for Religion in America. Very nice person who cares a lot about everyone and our grades. He won't really remind you about the readings but READDDD or you won't pass the Religion in America midterm. Fair grader, nice guy, boring lectures.

Prof. Stiltner really cares about and is invested in his students. Lectures are long and can be boring, but overall I enjoyed his class. Grading isn't too tough, and everyone seemed to do well. He's very easy to talk to, willing to help, and overall great guy. Would recommend taking his courses

I liked Prof S because he was genuine guy. He graded fairly and actually wanted us to get the A but that doesn't mean we didn't have to work for it. His midterm was impossible (we all failed) but he let us to makeups. And as for essays he likes to hear your voice in it so be yourself. I ended up with a B when I thought I deserved an A but oh well

He's a great person and is always willing to help out when you ask. However, you don't necessarily learn much in the class and he is very disorganized when teaching. He goes off into tangents about something completely off topic from what he is trying to teach. For his tests, really KNOW your material. Not just the definitions.

I am sitting in the last class right now. Professor Stiltner is tough but not over the top. If you pay attention and do the work you'll be fine. It is a lot of work for a class that is unrelated to most people's majors. But he's extremely helpful if you need it.

Friendly. Will call on you if he thinks ur not listening. friends told me he is tough grader if you don't try hard. If you try he isn't that tough. Workload gets very heavy towards end. Total: Two 4 page papers, two required 2 page colloquim and a 10 research or 6 page service project. I really liked him, but that last bit is pushing it....

Great professor! Class was very interesting!! Some people said he was really boring, so I was worried about that. But I really enjoyed class discussions and lectures. Also online postings were interesting to write, as well as reading other postings. Exams were pretty hard. But definitely one of my favorite classes this past semester!

Dr. Stiltner is a great teacher though it is true - you can space out for a while and he will still be talking about the same thing but it doesn't matter because the subject isn't hard. Since this class was blended online, besides a couple easy papers, our only real work was discussion board postings which are also easy. Super nice guy.
