Comment:
Lessons were disconnected from the exams and they were confusing often times cryptic. He did provide grading on the all essay weekly quizzes quickly but the feedback was substandard and didn’t meet expectations. The more classes I take the more I can point out which classes we are not getting our money’s worth from as students.

Comment:
Passionate about physics but the lesson notes are obscure, disorganized, and "thick". The quizzes and tests did not often focus on main points of the lessons - and you get many confusing answer options for multiple choice questions. If you understand what HE is looking for, you're fine. Otherwise, good luck, because it is not readily apparent.

I took this course online. Prof grades quickly and returns emails fast. He'll work with you and is lenient about points off on late work. The lesson readings are denser than the textbook, but more interesting once you wrap your head around it. Assignments could be hard?you have to comprehend the concepts. Exams are based on the practice quizzes.

Has a hard time doing examples in class and related them to a way the students can understand them. However, he tries his best to make students pass all the quizzes and exams throughout the semester. He is always in his available in his office for any questions. Overall, an alright professor.

he has such a great understanding of physics that he can not explain it to the class. he just rushes through lessons with few examples and he expects you to just know the meterial

probably the best professor at Penn State DuBois- most people that complain about his class are the ones who are failing it... he's really helpful and approachable. He's very down to earth and pretty much amazing.

He's the only teacher who ever got me to understand anything about physics. Fifteen years later, I still remember a lot of it, and THAT is a tribute to an effective, fair teacher.
