Even though I was not interested in the class, it was pretty easy, and the professor always had a smile on her face. The weekly assignments were easily done within 10 minutes. I failed the midterm, since I never go to class and didn't study, but receiving A's in everything else helped me get an A in the course.

This professor does not tie course content into a coherent concept of any real-world subject area, so the class is not very good. Moderately hard. I got a C, but that's because I'm lazy. She's actually pretty nice, just not a great teacher. Also, she has a very thick British accent.

The nicest professor I've ever had at Rutgers! Really interested in the material and genuinely cares about her students, and does her best to make sure everyone does well and does it with a smile. Cybercities had a lot of assignments but they were easy and the class had no exams!

Took the class very interested in "cybercities" VERY easy. HW takes literally 10 minutes/ week. It was so easy it actually upset me. It doesnt matter what you do, she just keeps smiling and talking. class was in the computer lab and most people just went on facebook the whole 3hours. By the end I hated the class. Waste of time, easy A. u decide

Very nice and friendly person; a good teacher, but her views are waaay too liberal for me... beware, especially for her "polls", as the "questions" are often subjective and biased toward the left. Otherwise, her classes are pretty laid back and easy.

not sure why. no matter how much i study(w/ interests), always end up getting a B on the exams. exams are detailed and sometimes questions are worded tricky. I took it as GPA booster, might end up hurting my GPA. maybe geo isn't my subject.

she is nice exams are very detailed but not that hard. dont read the book. and grading scale is so awesome. example. if you get 37 right answers out of 50 its a B plus. in fact its a C. 37 X 2 = 74 out of 100. LOVED HER class she is awesome

Very nice lady. TA speaks broken English, but keeps good website. Attendance is not mandatory, but is a very good idea. EC for people who come on time. I got an A, but it's not an easy A. Essay exams easier than multiple choice. That's what got me an A.

Professor Holcomb is an incredible intelligent and sweet woman. She makes material interesting with detailed presentations and only reading is a very well written storied account of cities. Multiple choice exams are very detailed and written in poor grammar by Chinese TA but they are both helpful during the test. All power points posted online.

took it as a GPA booster... it brought my GPA down! harder than it seems. pretty detailed exams. Bria is very nice and sweet and knows her stuff, but the class is pretty difficult to get an A in if you don't memorize the book and power points. i still can't believe urban studies hurt my GPA...

You will never encounter a better professor than Prof. Holcomb. She is always very well prepared, helpful, clear, understanding, and interesting. This was the very best course I've ever taken anywhere in all my years of college. Prof. Holcomb is a professor you will never forget!! Wonderful!!

Travel & Tourism Planning. Aww, great lady. Yeah, she might go on an on about her age, but the powerpoint presentations and picture slideshows are well worth the time and you have fun. Easy take home essays, just show up, do your work and be nice to her.
