US History to 1865 is interesting. She covers everything in great detail. Her lectures are long and heavy. If you skip class, you won't pass literally. This class is very content heavy. Her test are hard. You won't pass if you don't read. She is very flexible and accessible outside class. Don't take her class if you are not willing to work hard.

Her lessons can be a little boring but she does try to get your interest. Its really funny how she laughs at her own jokes. Very, very understanding and will look out for you by sending emails of jobs, internships, etc that may interest you.

Tests are extremely hard so beware. Study guides are not very helpful and her class is overall painful to sit through because she lectures the ENTIRE time. Very caring professor who knows her stuff, but I would NEVER take another class with her. Too hard and no slack

Great class, and an even better teacher. If you're stuck, she'll help you out. If you bomb a paper, she'll most likely let you re-write it. She's the best History teacher at St. Rose. It's a must take.

Bridgett is a really cool teacher. Her lectures are long but her interest in the subject and the way she delivers it makes a long lecture more interesting. If you do the assignments and put some effort into it you should be able to easily pass. Bridgett is very understanding and readily available to offer you help when you need it. She really cares

Bridgett is one of the most helpful in the history department. Her assignments require thought and effort but you're in college people. You have to read A book. She is truly invested in the well being and success of her students. She offered me so many opportunities outside the college and is the sole reason I am now a doctoral student in history.

Bridgett is one of the best history professors at the college. She is passionate about her subject, and genuinely cares about the success her students. If it was not for this class my first semester, I probably would have never pursued a degree in history. Thanks Bridgett! You're the best!

Moderately easy class. 3 papers, midterm, final and weekly quizzes. Chronology on quizzes will throw you for a loop. Really nice and obviously loves what she does. Fair grader. Likes you to call her Bridgett.

I would never take a class by williams-searle again. She laughs at her own jokes and talks the entire class...borinnnng. She's an extremely hard grader on essays and the midterm, and isn't sympathetic if miss class due to a real medical case. Try to avoid if possible.

Her quizzes aren't bad but they are 45 mins - an hour long. Her tests were impossible. I rushed my midterm and only finished 3/4 of it, so I lost interest in her class quick. I'm avoiding her for my 300 lvl cause I hear you read 12 books throughout the semester. She's a good prof but I only recommend her if you're taking a VERY light load already.

Bridgett was the first history professor I had here at St. Rose, and also my advisor. She has always gone above and beyond to be helpful, and is always there to answer any question I may have. She replies to emails promptly. She is a very hard professor and assigns a lot of work, but if you set aside the time and attend her classes, you will do fin

Lots of notes to copy but they're useful. Assigns a ton of readings and you feel like you can never take a breather. Very nice teacher and helpful. Do the extra credit that's offered. She is easy about some things but not all. Go to class, do the work and readings and you'll be fine. Use the online resources.

She assigns too much work which doesnt help student learn the material. Its just extra**** students have to do.Her lectures are okay but she doesnt post the slides on blackboard on time. Her tests are crap!she doesnt include the main points of the chapter.Just little unsignificant useless details that you will never use in your history major.

Not the most interesting class, as long as you attend and read you will do fine. she gives you exactly whats going to be on the tests. If you like to miss a lot of classes and don't like to read whats assigned than you will do poorly.
