Comment:
He is not an absolutely terrible professor. However, when deciding which professor to take chemistry with many people say to avoid him. Sometimes after asking a question I was still confused. Also, his Sven and Ole jokes were funny but took up around 10 minutes sometimes. If given a choice I would not take him again.

Comment:
Dr. Allison is a very interesting person. He is clearly very knowledge in the subject of Organic Chemistry, and usually convey his ideas on specific subjects well. However, he wasted a lot of time in class on irrelevant topics or on Sven and Ole jokes (look it up). Other sections of the class were way ahead, and he often would skip entire lessons.

Cool professor. He keeps things marginally interesting for people that don't find Chemistry very interesting. Knows the material he teaches really well. Nice guy.

I really liked him a lot. I would advice you to read what's on the syllabus at those dates since it'll help a lot. Just do the work and you'll get a B pretty easily.

Not a bad prof. just don't expect to learn from him. Most of the material you will have to teach yourself but a large portion of what is on the test is covered in class. Overall not too bad.

He's a nice guy, but he seems to always be behind. Most of the time HW was over stuff we hadn't covered yet. He is moderately easy though and quite helpful. BTW, he's a big Sven and Ole fan.
