Definitely the best professor I have had at SMU so far. Makes what could be a fairly dull class very enjoyable. Hes the nicest guy ever and cares a lot for the students. Exams aren't overly easy but he makes sure you understand the material well and know roughly what to expect. Exams very fairly marked and same for assignments. All round great prof

Bruce is excellent all around. At first it may seem like he's super disorganized however he emphasizes greatly what you need to know for the tests. In addition, if you can support your answer he'll mark it right whether he agrees or not. Super caring guy and a nice sense of humour. Course isn't very time consuming either

Attend his lectures and take notes. If you understand the laws and use them to support your argument well, you'll get a good grade. He's a very fair marker and will walk you through how to approach cases. His style is to have you apply your knowledge to cases, which is very helpful and useful in real life.

Bruce is by far one of the best profs at SMU. He sometimes can drag certain aspects on for too long, but his lectures aren't that boring. He also can get pretty into what he's teaching. Funny guy.

I took his course because of all the good reviews. However I found him to be very scattered, couldn't give a straight answer on anything he asked us and basically told us to read the hand outs and figure it out. Doesn't use PPT or anything online, I usually leave more confused then when I started. Nice guy, but he can't seem teach anything.

Absolutely loved this class and this prof! Facilitates discussion really well and is always willing to answer questions. Gives lots of handouts which are really helpful. Makes everything super clear and grades very fairly. Attending and paying attention makes the class a breeze - one of the best profs I've had hands down. Would def. recommend.

Absolutely awesome prof, such a funny sense of humour, it was never a hassle to attend class. You don't even have to use the textbook really if you go to class and read his handouts. Very fair evaluations, definitely take law with Bruce !!

Great Prof, easy class. Dr. Anderson was by far one of my best profs yet. He supplies great notes (I didn't even open my textbook), and makes quite easy. The midterms consisted of short answer questions which were rather easy (mostly common sense). Overall, I must say, if you have to take intro to commercial law, take it with Bruce Anderson.

Dr. Anderson is absolutely hilarious even when he isn't trying to be funny. He knows his stuff so well, and he makes sure his classes are loose and fun. There is a little bit more work assigned than most 2nd year courses but it is marked very leniently. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody.

Mr. A is the nicest and funniest guy! He has a genuine interest in the material and knows it inside out. The classes are laid back and open to discussion. You learn the most just by being in class. Mr. A made me love law and I really wish he taught more courses! He is the BEST! :) Take him

Bruce is so nice! he's pretty easy too. Don't buy the book, it didn't help and I still did good. The legal analysis help you understand more, he's a pretty easy marker. Participating helps too, he likes when students participate and he gave the format of the final, no surprises. Love him, I recommend him to anyone He's seems very shy, but hes funny

He is supper awesome and cloear, he made me love law after his class, going to class is preparing for exams to him, you should be able to o exactly what he do in class to get an A, if you want to go through the law course with an A take him and avoid everyone else. he is friendly, fair, useful out of class, always welcoming and understandable.
