I liked Dr. Conn! The class had 3 lecture exams, 2 lab exams, and a paper. The lecture exams can be fairly difficult but 2 of ours were open note and he always give you space at the end of the exam to describe something you studied for that wasn't on the exam, for which he'll give you 10 extra points. Lab exams are all open note. Lenient grader!

Dr. Conn's class is a bit of a roller coaster ride. The man is brilliant, loves what he teaches, and can talk about invertebrates for days. The course is lacking in structure so you take a LOT of notes. You will feel as if you won't pass the class for most of the semester, but stick with it - your final grade will be much higher than you think!

Dr. Conn has a vasssssssst wealth of knowledge. He is employed by Washington and is so incredible connected throughout the world. The class is ok for non biology people but any person with the slightest interest in biology should definitely take it because you'll be in heaven.

Incredibly difficult for a Gen Ed. Do not take this course unless you want to be teaching yourself. He constantly speaks more about his personal and professional life than the actual course. Nearly everyone fails the lab exam! Brace yourself for a difficult class and very limited help

This man will not help you. If you ask a question he provides a vague answer. He is very self important and talks about himself constantly. The expectations are waay over what a gen ed class should be. Don't take for a gen ed. Everyone fails the lab exam. We had a 35 point curve and some people still failed. Will ruin GPA.

Odd tests, watch out for final exam. Very strange. Just lectures, take careful notes and PAY ATTENTION!! Must do journal review for class, he lets you email it to him, then he edits it and sends it back to you. Very helpful man and kinda good looking.

awesome, awesome professor! He is so incredibly knowledgeable and I still can't figure out why he's at little ole' Berry College. He is very very patient with non-science majors and is careful to explain things in a like manner. GREAT professor!!

If you study his tests are really really reasonable! And he is so nice and helpful. Answers email REALLY fast. I was kinda doubtful at first... but he's a great guy! Funny!
