He is a nice person and I think he explains concepts well. However, sometimes he may be confusing. Therefore, do not be afraid to ask questions if you want to be clear about things.

If you understand the concepts, the class is incredibly easy. If you don't, then this class will be extremely difficult. My best advice for you is to do the homework because that is what his lectures are for the most part.

Bruce Conrad has been my favorite professor in my two years here at Marshall. Even though accounting can be difficult at times he was always willing to help. Before each test he hosted an out of class review session just for questions that come up the night before. He is very understanding of time constraints. Be sure to participate!

He was not that clear with showing how to do stuff. He was really vague on journal entries, which were what you were graded on the hardest on tests and the group project. Did not give near enough time for us to complete group project with consideration of other classes and work schedules. Did not use email at all. Usually has his grad students send the emails for him, but it made it difficult to get ahold of him if you have questions outside of class. What is the point in even doing homework if it is not graded and doesn't help with understanding the class.

He would tell you the quiz and tests were on one thing then give them on something totally different! I dropped four weeks in, maybe he gets better.

Professor Conrad was who encouraged me to pursue a degree in accounting! I would recommend this professor to ANYONE! He is a wonderful person and is very approachable! He can be confusing at times, but he will clarify anything if you ask! He doesn't really use the text book, but I would recommend reading it as you go along.

He seemed nice, but he would assign homework first then explain it later. If you did not understand what was going on, you could not get a grade for completing the homework. Very difficult if ACC doesn't already come easily for you. I had to drop it.

I absolutely loved this class. Accounting isn't for everyone, but he does his best to explain everything so everyone can't see stand it. He is more than happy to help however he can, and he keeps class interesting. By far the most brilliant accountant in the department, he knows his stuff incredibly well. The tests can be challenging and so can the year end project. But ask questions if you don't understand and he can always help you understand it. I definitely recommend his class.

He knows his stuff so well. He is not exactly hard, but he sticks to a strict schedule, and you have to keep up. Tests are predictable, but its still accounting, so know your stuff. Good professor, but not a cakewalk. Still got an A though because he curves grades a little

So starting out the semester with this teacher I was really nervous. In fact the way he talked as if it was a really tough class, I tried looking for another teacher to take. I ended up sticky it out with him and it came to be a pretty good class. He lets you use half a cheat sheet for exams and he'll help you if you ask.

"MMMKKKK? Annnny questions? Going, going gone!" Professor Conrad is the best professor in the accounting department. He makes sure you understand something before moving on. Do the homework, ask for help in his office, etc. He WILL help you. Tests are hard, but he gives reviews and lets you use half a sheet of paper to cheat. Easy A.

He's such a sweet old man. Going to every class is important & pay attention. Keep detailed notes. He can be confusing. Sometimes gives bonus for quizes and attendance. Lets you use a "cheat sheet" for his exams

Has good intentions. Hard to understand when he is talking. Can usually read his writing but he teaches so fast it's hard to keep up. He makes mistakes and forgets what he is doing a lot which only confuses students more. Better than J. Price.

Prof Conrad is in essence a pretty cool guy. He makes his tests as he watches his favorite tv show so theres nothing really tricky on them. He lets out class early sometimes because he wants to go eat hamburgers and drink beer. If you PAY ATTENTION(!!) and do the homework and correct your mistakes and such this class can be very easy.

Wow...he is hard. Not encouraging at all. Very very unorganized. He cant remember what he is doing half the time. He writes all over the board and makes all kind of mistakes that only confuse you further. This subject is something that most have trouble with...so try to find someone who is better equipped to help you. He is SO annoying.

It's not so much that he is a horrible teacher he just teaches extremely fast and expects a lot of from his students. Tests are short but each question builds off of eachother so if you miss the first problem u fail the test. A lot of homework sometimes it is collected. He moves very quickly and is very unorganized and hard to follow.
