Honestly I wouldn't be in school without him he goes above and beyond for his students and he gives wonderful constructive critiques. Also he sounds just like Alan Watts. Everything he says sounds so poetic and singsonygy and he has such wise insight about the world etc. and Art's place in it and it reassures me that I went into the right field.

He's the best professor you will ever have. Period. No one will ever regret taking one of his classes. Fabulous illustrator, even more fabulous professor & human being. His supportive nature is very encouraging to students & makes everyone produce better work. Understands you as a person & gets to the root of you as an artist. Just take his class.

Easily one of the most amazing and helpful professors I have ever met. He always goes out of his way to email me or meet with me and help me deciding on courses and my portfolio. If you take a class with him you will NOT regret it. He loves what he does and he makes you love what you do.

I have had him for both colloquiums and i will have him next year in Illustration 1, he is the greatest teacher. So helpful, and the sound of his voice easily rivals that of Alan Rickman or Morgan Freeman.

Bruce is the man. Literally. He's a great teacher and person. He is always very clear, engaging, a pleasure to speak with, and very encouraging. He has gone out of his way to help me many times, both in and out of the classroom. He recently wrote me a recommendation where he stated that he wished I was writing him one! Well, here it is!

He is the most charismatic teacher you will ever have, and will make you fall in love, not only with him, but with Illustration. Totally inspiring and he really makes you want to please him. You'll be extremely sad to leave him on the last day of classes.
